I actually won an award recently for being the best coach in my home town during 2021. did not get a shiny thing but I got a diploma and the equivalent of $1100 which is nice. I am also now known in my home town as a very good coach and people actually know that I won and walk up to me to say hi and congratulate me on winning the award even now a month after winning. but standing on the podium and having to answer questions on the fly with almost 1000 people watching the live stream was a bit nervous to say the least.

I actually won an award recently for being the best coach in my home town during 2021. did not get a shiny thing but I got a diploma and the equivalent of $1100 which is nice. I am also now known in my home town as a very good coach and people actually know that I won and walk up to me to say hi and congratulate me on winning the award even now a month after winning.
but standing on the podium and having to answer questions on the fly with almost 1000 people watching the live stream was a bit nervous to say the least.
But you did it! You persevered. You're now more qualified than a few of the politicians running for president in my country.
@@Chris951021 haha, that's sad. cause me running a country would most probably not be a good idea... i'm nothing more than a certified pipe welder. and on my spare time do I coach kids for free in mountainbiking just because I think it is super fun, both super fun to ride and super fun to see the happiness in the kids faces as they progress.
I have been coaching for 5 years now and have only been compensated for some of my expenses over the years but the vast majority of expenses have I covered myself. the money I got here has gotten it back to a slight proffit and winning made me even more happy and looking even more forward for the weather to get good enough and for the trails to dry up so I can go back to coaching again. =)

If only he knew how important dynamite is in construction as well as destruction and demolition.
Actually he owned Bofors, which is an armaments company that made cannon/weapons and various explosives and chemicals. Dynamite was an explosive for non-military/peaceful applications(mining and construction) compared to the others he invented /made.
Bofors still makes cannons and chemicals. Though it is now split -up and owned by many corporations
