I was a teenager who was afraid to look like a nerd and comicstorian was the perfect middle ground for me. We shared the same favorite character and the way he created his content was brilliant. Every time I think of red hood I will think of him now.

We live about 30 minutes away from each other. So every few days when I pick him up to spend time with him, we throw on one of your videos. It makes dealing with bumper to bumper traffic actually ok. Ive commented on other stories also but id like him to know that me and my son have spent countless hours listening to his great voice acting, and when i didn't have the money or time to connect the dots of the stories i loved, he did, so just Kno that when i say "he will be missed" i mean every word.

This is the first I’ve heard about Benny passing… I’ve been a long time subscriber and always loved the thrill and emotion he put into his work on comicstorian and all the amazing memories that came with it. I’ve never really liked music and haven’t been much of a social butterfly in my life, and I always had a great time listening to a new comic book audio drama and the effort that was put in. I’ve listened to crisis on infinite earths, immortal hulk, dceased, and marvel zombies more than anything else. It’s absolutely tragic what happened, and now Benny is in the power battery in the sky, flying with the green lantern corps forever…
I'll really miss you, Benny, I've always been a fan of your work since the longest time.. it really hurt when I found out the first time. Rest well in knowing you've brought joy to people for many years

He was the voice of comics for me, and his telling of them was so impactful that it made me love comics so much.
