that'd be funny. i wonder how long that might delay the attack tho.. it'd be a few hundred gas in an already gas expensive build.. putting probes into the assimilators earlier for the gas might have a negative impact on his mineral income. i wonder?
The new mothership is awesome, The fact that as a protoss we're now capable of hitting multiple areas at once WITHOUT splitting our army and therefore weakening it severely is amazing.
We were able to do that for many years before hand, this only makes it much easier.

Must be frustrating while playing against harstem, because even though you cant hear him, you just know every time a unit of yours dies, harstem is like, "OPPAH how'd you like that chief?"
What happens if you recall to the Mothership while it's in dead space? Will the units pop out at three closest possible location? That might be cool on some maps?

BGMWSS: Try to use the mothership for a devastating "sneak attack". The enemy sees the mothership floating at them and they are like whats this stupid thing doing here, and then 10 disruptors or high templars shoot all at once and blast everything. Then do it again only its a trick: theres nothing there, its a distraction and youre attacking elsewhere. Keep doing this until you win
This concept is so good, please run it back. If you add a proxy nexus by his expansion you could do a triple recall.
That won't work the cooldown for recall is global for all Nexuses, this means once one Nexus used a recall no other Nexus (yours of course) can do another recall until the global cooldown is done even if they have enough energy. The Moma-Ship has her own cooldown. So you are limited to 2 recalls.
While still nothing compared to the Mothership from the demo that we never got to touch *cough*SCrewyouBlizzard*cough* , I'm glad that "this monster of a ship really is a weapon without equal" is finally getting some genuine love as it should've had since the beginning

BGMWSS idea: bring back the Elliot the zealot challenge! You could do this with the mothership (Molly the mothership) and try to get a certain amount of kills on it, which would also be pretty fun! I think the most fun I’ve ever had watching you was whenever you lost the zealot and lost your mind many moons ago and watching you try to salvage that with a new Elliot and get 10 kills on the new zealot. please bring that back!
i think mothership rushing has WAYYY more potential all ins/timing attacks than we are aware of currently. this is just tip of the iceberg.

u asked for mothership challenges, here you have one:
u kept recalling into his base and then back out with a nexus, which is a neat little trick, but then youre back at your side of the map and have to fly to his side again and your army has to walk over and its just a hassle... build a nexus on his side of the map in a corner somewhere and then recall to that instead, that way you just constantly recall from corner to corner. thats pretty stupid imo

Would love to see some sentries to wall off the main after mship recall. Then after energy runs out just leave. Make old school immortal, sentry, slow zealot work?
Would love to see you mix in some DTs to the recall harass. Especially if you split the DTs with the mass recall.
"Mother of all Doom Drops" where you use mothership recall then instantly recall the mother ship, transporting your whole army and then removing their only escape.

Captain, I would try it, but I have silver hands, so I must call upon yours. Can you do this build, but lace in some oracles and/or sentry's to wall off and/or stasis the army as it returns to the main, buying even more time to slaughter the mineral line and/or destroy critical tech structures?

Not joking, I think this is how Protoss is supposed to be played, i.e. use recall more to not lose units.
question, what happens if you do mass recall with the mothers hip and then instantly recall the mother's hip with the army. if it only moves the army that would be such a cool way to catch the opponent out of position no?

Why not bring just one sentry and forcefield the ramp. If the zerg a moves up thinking he's got defence he won't get anything done.

I made a nasty PvZ build that hits at either 7:15 with a mothership recalling 3 carriers and 15 glaive adepts, 5 stalkers, a sentry, a warp prism, and an observer. I have an alternative order that hits closer to 8 mins with 4 carriers, 3 immortals, the prism, observer, 5 stalkers, but only 10 glaive adepts

Mothership cheese: Low tier enemy. Instead of killing workers kill the tech structures of your opponent to lock him out of tech units.
Maothership challenge: build a mothership, show it and never use it :D (or use it once)
