I love Rivian's corporate advertising videos from the 8 modes video, the vehicle entry video, the Normal plant video to this video... Love the theme... Rivian unlike Tesla & Lucid has a CEO-founder and has products which N. Americans enjoy (Pickup trucks & SUVs)
THANK GOD!!! AN EXECUTIVE WHO IS REAL. I've only watched 50 seconds of this video and I'm typing this comment. This man is solid. This is the leadership style that team members...that's right...team members - not employees - can support. He's balanced. I apologize for being crude, but he's aware that his sh*t stinks just like everyone else's. Lead by example. Make the workplace relaxed, fun and productive. KEEP IT REAL people. I couldn't be happier (as an R1T owner and company investor) to see this man at the helm.

A longer mile range is important as that is what the customer wants to hear..
Please don't get into employee intros Virgin G did that as well as other companies its not a good sign.

@@justinmusic1296 when did I bad mouth Tesla , care to share proof ? . Support for one EV does not mean putting down other EV’s. Chill out and don’t feel so threatened by another EV company doing something right. Options are always good for customers and it also keeps competitive spirit alive even for current market leaders like Tesla to innovate.

I'm taking delivery of my R1S in Q3 2023 and I wish I could get this instead of the quad motors. A Rivian guide told me that's not going to happen, but I hope Rivian can accommodate me on this. Yes, I'm with Rivian to reduce cost and hope they can make it happen for me.

Reality check: Cost reduction provided by in-house motor is for sake of Rivian’s bottom line; as it seeks to become a sustainable and profitable business while facing increasing costs in all areas. It’s not for lowering cost to consumers. If a lower cost vehicle is your wish, you should hold out for R2.

At 3:10 Frank said "...a choice of the quad motor or 'AN' Enduro Motor...". Does that mean the "Dual Motor" is being replaced by just one Enduro Motor?
choice of quad AND enduro (i.e. dual)

In the Amazon EDV yes it will be single enduro motor however in Rivian dual motor version there will be 2 . The quad motor is still an option as well

As an owner of an R1T I’d rather have a happy medium. Horsepower and Torque being top priority
Damage control. Got to congratulate their PR/Marketing team, still trying its best to soften the impact of delivery delays and recalls... If only more organisations focus on quality and delivering on promises rather than having to spend to either divert negative attention or to appease disappointed customers...
