    Hi again, when you have time I’ve a few questions about the dreads ~ I’ve put in comments above. My b/f’s sister makes bath bombs, soap where you don’t need to apply cream after ( been a godsend with all the Coronavirus washing hands so often ) wax melts and all sorts of things with natural ingredients. I’ve applied a sea salt scrub with baby oil & then again with moisturiser to prepare my scalp. It’s made a huge difference already, the lumps I had have decreased & my scalp feels really good. I’ll have to send you some samples because they may be helpful to you. Please have a look at questions because this is for life now. I’m so happy to find you ~ other people never seemed to mention that I could carry on dreads with my natural hair growth. You are amazing. 🧚🏼‍♀️❤️🧚🏼‍♀️

    I’ve mastered the art of joining extensions ( what do you think about twist & rip method? ) what do I do as my hair grows please? I love dreads so much. I’ve put them in then out because I don’t get help to section properly & neatly & I didn’t really like it like that ~ it needs law & order!!! I had a bad time with scalp, I’ve still got lumps on my head so what sort of product did you use along bases that will probably be the best thing I need to avoid any more lumps. The music is brilliant ~ don’t make it mute, you don’t need speak so why people can’t just press mute button is daft!!!

      Jaq Watson thank you for the love. Come see me and I’ll help you. I’m in San Francisco, CA. When I do my own hair I use two mirrors so I can see the back. Don’t get discouraged nobody looks at the back like that anyways. The bumps are probably from too much tension or if you use any products... that can cause dryness and irritation. I wish I could help you. I would suggest tea tree shampoo and make sure you oil with grapeseed oil find me on Instagram @betsy_braids

      I’d love to come & see you but I’m in Lancashire England & my local area is on lockdown again coz our Government are absolutely dog shit. All private education, qualifications coming out their ears but no common sense or idea of “real life”!!! Anyway I can’t afford a renewal passport so the air fare isn’t gonna happen 😂. Thank you so much for quick reply. I honestly just couldn’t find anything about the new hair growth & how to keep them looking good. It’s gonna take a long time but I have wanted them for years but my job back then wasn’t keen on my piercings so hair would have been a no go area. I’m now full time ill with Fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease in spine & lots and lots more of problems but I’m still breathing ~ that will do for me. I was gifted a meditation cushion by a lady I met at a festival. She loved my hair so I removed 1 of my locks & installed it in her hair. I get a lot of use from the cushion whilst installing because of the fatigue part of Fibro. You have helped me so much ~ what a wonderful being you are. 🧚🏼‍♀️⭐️🧚🏼‍♀️.

    • @betsy_braids

      Interesting. I have fine, straight hair. I'm African American. Would a loctition generally use fine hair for natural looking locs on my type of hair? And does that make it lighter on thin, fine hair?

  • @tayratliff777
    @tayratliff777 2 роки тому +2

    How thick do the sections need to be? My husband has extremely thin hair. We’re about to put in synthetic dreads and I love the way you’ve done it but I’m worried that the base would be way too thin compared to the loc because of how thin his hair is. I’m also worried it would break with that much damage being done to the base. What’s your opinion on this? BTW LOOOVE the music, your mad skills and the video. I’m a Bay Area brat myself 😝 (San Jose)

      Hey just a friendly comment Kay Cassie I just wanted to let you know that these are not locks. These are dreadlocks. This does not have to be a quote unquote racist term because that is a very very racist term in itself to say that that's a racist term for name to use. It's not politically correct to say locks because locs and dreadlocks are two different things and let me just say some of the most beautiful men in the world are African American and I am Polish. I've had both in my hair many times. Locs are wrapping the hair around dreadlocks are knotting and teasing hair. Now, it is not a racist term to use dreadlocks because African Americans actually were not the first people to have these they were actually done before Greek warriors went into fight and then they would put colors such as red in organic paints that they need from plants obviously to show that they had been successful for spilled blood because war has always been part of our culture unfortunately and that's just a matter of opinion. But African Americans were not the first again to have dreadlocks so it's not a racist term being that the first or actually Greeks So, kind of cool if you look up some information. It's obviously great to be educated. The only way to achieve real knowledge is by doubting everything you know to be true to let in new information which in turn is real knowledge.
