Thank you for this tutorial - this is super helpful. My personal favorite EWF song is Can't Hide Love, and some runners-up are Serpentine Fire, You Are A Winner, Runnin', and I'll Write A Song For You (which is very different for them but so beautiful).
I love this tutorial. I have been away from the piano for a long time. This tune is a great one to get reacquainted with practice. I really love so many of EWF arrangements, some of my favorites are I wanna be with you, after the love is gone, and loves holiday, and you can't hide love. Thanks for being you
One thing overlooked here is that every third time through the pattern, the C#min7 becomes a C#7. Thank you so much for teaching the world how to play Earth, wind and fire tunes!

I'll just give you all my favorite EWF songs (September included), not in any particular order, they're all great: Let's Groove, In the Stone, Boogie Wonderland, Fantasy, Shining Star.

Hi I’m currently learning piano and I’m wondering. If this scale is a major why are there minor notes played in the right hand. Thanks in advance.

I'm new to chords. So I don't know if I'm imagining it. 2nd and 3rd chords look like E major and D major. Is this right?
The RH chords on their own *look* like E and D major triads, yes. When you add the roots with the LH the chords are C#m7 and Bm7.
