This game is too easy for Skill, so he gets rid off half of his hp at in the first minute to make it more enjoyable. Legend.
wg.net next april fools needs to make a joke game "world of russian roulette" choose from a wide array of revolvers. 1 type of ammo to load and complete with team play its 100% fair as each player gets a turn.

I was looking through a bunch of resources, and while I can find pics of it with the sides folded down and the weapon ready to fire, I can’t find anything that definitely states that the gun could be fired in the travel position. Has anyone seen this in a source?
@@chrishelt4389 Only thing I know, they build this tank destroyer as a "fast solution" because of armor they couldnt pen otherwise, KV series I believe. 8.8 before this tank was only used in navy and as anti aircraft.

when I was new to the game and grinded to the Toaster, i fell in love with him back in the day. It was the first tank I got the 2nd mark on. because the gun ist awesome, when you can stay in the back and snipe + the mobility is awesome. still one of my favorite tanks ever
It's pretty much the same gun you can get with the Tiger 1 or the Jadtiger 8.8 (slightly less standard penetration but the same gold penetration), which are a few tiers above this td, so by any means the gun is bad. Hitting for 240 at such lower tiers can be pretty devastating, the problem is the amount of Grilles and M44s in the MM, you can be 1shot very easily.
Back in the day. The Toaster and the Bathtub made me believe that I could actually dominate some games. They were too much fun so removed and Bathtub nerfed to shit.
@@derekaarts4997 Was the bathtub nerfed? Damn, that's a tier 5 french td with a very powerful gun for its tier but mediocre reload time. It was slow as hell too. I guess unicums in their T67s hated to be 1shot sometimes by it lol

Please PLEASE keep including lower tier tanks now and then. I know higher tiers are more popular for most players, but I enjoy the mid tiers SO much more. Lots of people are still learning and have much to gain from your playing lower tiers. Thank you so much!!!!!
You should play the Archer for a Monday video. Very challenging tank to play well with for us lesser baboons.

I went back playing tier 5/6, holy bananas I had a blast playing some tanks again. I just 3rd marked my love at first sight, the M4A3E8, I fell for it with the tutorial it was included. Now I'm on the 2nd mark of the toaster, using the 2nd gun. So many good tanks at tier 6, T-34-85, Cromwell, VK 30.02M, Type 64

I love these kind of 'best of'-lowtier games from time to time, they're usually very entertaining :)
Toaster was my first tier V back in the day. Even as a noob I had decent games in it
The 90° gun elevation is cherry on top :D
That second game. holy shit, I'm in awe
I miss the old Maps, where you can use the "reverse" gun depression with this tank, by drive back on ramps. In the new Maps, since 1.0, you have many hulldown positions, but less ramps behind bushes or next to the red line. For these positions, this tank was perfect to hide you're big structure.
The best feature about this tank is the gun elevation, it allows you to fire 90º up which means you can even hugh a wall in extreme inclined angles and still be cappable of firing forward (very usefull for some unusual redline bushcamp positions.
This tank should be tier 6 with a siege mode and have a fully traversal turret as the prototype did. I loved playing this tds great gun

Skill, you forgot to mention, that this nice toaster can show the middlefinger to enemies behind him while running away, because the gun elevation is ridiculous 90°!!! The style for extreme tryharders and yolo-masters.
I prefer Nashorn, pretty similar gameplay at tier 6. Slower than this toaster, but you get a bit larger gun traverse angle in return. Skill level of the crew has a big impact on your performance playing these kind of hard-hitting, no cammo & no armor TDs, imo.

speaking of the second battle skill. since I remember your epic Nashorn replay on the other side of the map I think it is winnable but very very tricky ^^
Side note, but the other 88 is also quite a bit lighter so adds even more mobility. Plus the gun arc skill notes. And tbh the pen is pretty much fine most of the time.
I haven't watched this yet, but I wanted to comment on how eerie it is that I was just sitting thinking to myself, "Let's buy the death-toaster, just for the heck of it." and here your video is.

Loved the Toaster back years and years and YEARS ago. You don't use the top gun on it and it's a deadly machine. The top gun sacrifices too much DPS for the pen/alpha, but the middle gun is (or was) far better in most situations. It's also got far better traverse.
those were some epic matches indeed. but if i was playing that mountain pass map enemy team would have simply rushed me. but you played very well and skillfully. the ensk match was a beauty, that map awareness and knowing when to retreat was perfect, but if i was playing jeff would for sure be going after me :(

Love the toaster. And love that most people don't think of playing with it. Amazing gun and pen. No need for gold at all. Maybe for a t29 turret or other tier 7 but most of the time it's not needed.

This tank was really a self propelled antiaircraft tank. They should change the tank so that the sides can be lowered and 360degree firing arc be possible. (Press X to deploy.) But to drive fast you need to change to toaster mode.
My keyboard took one for the team on many occasions playing WoT.
That 2nd match shows just how broken the spotting and camo mechanics are when you combine it with low tier players who probably don't even have full tank mastery.
But as long as there are new players aka seals nothing will change.

I'm a mediocre player but, before 1.0 update I had a lot of fun with that TD, was one of my favorite along with another one little mean machine Marder 38T. Recently I've tried to play both but not much fun and success even crew is more skilled and we have equipment 2.0

I actually enjoyed the toaster and the Nashorn back in the day. In today's meta they are quite underwhelming but back in the day, they were very effective.
20:44, I have been in situations like this one on this map but with such a huge disparity in tanks and hp, and the Churchill minding his own business, only Skill could turn this into a win, even if the enemy team are complete muppets.
Now this is what I call an attack toaster
Winnable, mhm, the most sensible way to win would be the KV-1 and Toaster holding out for the Churchill III to cap, but winning trough killing all is a hard situation normally :D
Be happy that the KV-1 did not fall back and joined you behind the trees. If he did that, your sniper position would have been useless. ;)
Flak Toaster is a great TD. It’s top gun is devastating.
The toaster is still in the tech tree on console and it is OP with the top gun. You can devastate the enemies - until you are spotted.
Toaster was great fun. Such an OP gun on a pretty unimpressive platform.
Some of the best games I've ever had were after I got blasted for most of my HP at the beginning and I had to be a TD for the rest of the match.

I played this tank with the very first gun, because the tank was a bit faster (weight reduction) and the gun arc was so damn good.

PZ sfl 4c is a very very good TD, I used to play it regularly and was second best in it on the server. It's got a great combination of gun handling, DPM and penetration. If a good player is covering a flank in this TD, God help those who try to take that flank. I have single handedly decimated an enemy advance many times in this TD.

@@psyborg06 I try my best, thanks. Anyone can play damn good with this TD because being a sniper is easy at lower tiers. This TD has got a great top gun and the narrow gun traverse on the top gun, which is its only drawback, is not even a problem when sniping at range, combine that with the fact that people at lower tiers are usually still learning and they make a lot of mistakes. Make a mistake while in range of the toaster?

I did not have a good time in this tank, it seemed that every time I tried to shoot at something either lack of depression or the crap gun angles would wreck the shot. After a few particularly bad battles in a row in it I gave up and sold it.
i noticed 3 thinks frum here .... flying eff.... beating the leeving crep.... and extremely extremely extremely important
I wait for the game when Skill has to use all the toasters gun elevation to make a kill ;-)

If you could open the side panels, you could have a 360° gun arc... There's a mod for it but it's just cosmetic, doesn't change the gun arc sadly.

Great games with the toaster, I used to like this tank, back in the day when I was even a shittier player. However, can't wait to see Skill's video with VK30.01H shitter, my personal hidden gem discovery and first tank I got 3rd MoE... with this Panther's gun - it is insane! Wet kisses to you Baboon and hopefuly see you on the battlefield so we can dance like there is no tomorrow🙂🙃
Skillman I would have words with you, Every time you profile a vehicle in the game and report it as a good tank, three-mark it and do amazing things I have to reason it out. What your great game play is and my game play is could be compared to the difference between a great white shark and a trout. In the first game you’re playing against noobs. Every experienced player knows you’re shooting from a known location! A medium could’ve taken the toaster out easily - YOU WERE IN NOOOB HEAVEN! Epic second game BUT you are a superior player there and in the game. In the third game - telling a great attribute in the game is “knowing when to escape” is written in magic-marker sign and hanging on my wall! I gave you a 👍🏻 on general principles.
