- The deity of Jesus Christ is something that has been under fire throughout the centuries. In fact, to the New Testament authors, it was one of the determining factors as to whether or not someone was holding to the truth. Does Jesus exemplify the same divine characteristics of the God we read about in the Old Testament? Is believing in the deity of Jesus necessary for one's personal salvation? @@meiam2952 Can you see that the death and resurrection of the flesh is different than spiritual death? And because of the power of God accepting the sacrifice Jesus made raised physically from the him from the dead? God was never dead as the Father is in Heaven while Jesus resided as a tent, just as happened while the Jews wandered in the desert. Moses spoke with God in heaven while the Spirit resided in the tabernacle.
God's ways are not our ways and by your train of thought God is in a physical box and not transcendent. Earth is not a copy of heaven.

And although they both sinned, Adam was the one that God held responsible, because Eve was deceived, he was not. He sinned knowing full well the consequences. 1 Timothy 2:13-14 "For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor." John 1:17 "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." Are you a Roman Catholic?
@@ChildofAbrahambyFaith No, but I think you misread scripture. Are you saying that Eve did not know not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil? Adam loved Eve more then following the command of God Gen3:17. Grace is only by Christ but don't forget Christ came into the world through Mary.
@@gregorywootton3870Mary has nothing to do with grace entering the world. That is a Catholic invention. Grace came through Jesus Christ the Son of God. Eve knew she wasn't supposed to eat, but she was deceived into it. Adam was not deceived, and so was held responsible for his sin, and all of humanity's. It has to do with the order of creation. God put the man as the head of the family, not women, even pre-fall. She was to be his helper, but he was "in charge" 1 Cor. 11:8-9 "For man was not made from woman, but woman from man. Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man."

More example of this can one find in revelation 3,14 and 1. Hebrew 1, 5.
@@siglindekraus5738 , Matthew 1:18 she was found with child of the Holy. Nothing about a person called the father doing a thing. So there's the father and there's the real father of Jesus, that's the problem with the Trinity doctrine, it's nonsense.

This was so enlightening! To receive the Word from a Jew from the Torah opened by eyes to so much! This has given me such a richer perspective of Jesus and the trinity! The verse John 1:1 is the verse that made me truly understand that Jesus is God. In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Amen
