Absolutely fabulous and I know it's going to look even better day 5 if that could be possible. Knowing your standards of work of course it's possible. Love love love the rock colours you have chosen. Was stunned to see the original dry stack rock wall just disappear into the background with the matching gold. Laura and Team DFS you are all so very very talented and hard working. Using bubble wrap as buying online I have bulk on hand. Putting on some good flexible garden gloves double over the bubble wrap around any cacti makes an easy way to handle them.
Love to watch them install the barrel cacti. Impressed to see how tough they are. Thanks for sharing!

Wow Laura. What an awesome property and you and your team are doing a fantastic job 🙌🏼. Quite gorgeous. I love that lighter rock with the splashs of dark as to not overwhelm the already dark stucco color. Question: I’m sure it’s time consuming but is there anyway on your grand reveal day you could throw up a still of the “before” shot to really show the transformation. Yes, I’m following along each day but I think it would be great to see the difference. I appreciate all you do and have learned so much! Thank you ☺️

It’s so pretty! Yes it’s just stunning. It’s amazing to see the transformation from day 1 and then now. It’s already looking gorgeous. I am sure there are lots of hard work behind the scenes we have not seen. Laura and your team is just amazing. Perhaps give us some ideas how you vision and prepare a project big or small.

The barrel cactus do lean toward the sunlight in the desert, so you are creating a very natural look.
In such a large installation you could find a BRAHEA ARMATA palm to add. It is a palmate BLUE leaf palm that thrives in the desert of Mexico with Cactus and agave. I am sure the client would welcome this palm to compliment the other palms in the garden.
I agree those are the most beautiful palms they are natives in my grandma’s ranch in Mexico and they look so breathtaking even in the wild
I love this installation; probably one of my favorites - the color of the pebbles, the mounding, the specimen plants, the barrels - there's just something about how they were put together. If I were walking along that property, I would just stare at those cacti and aloes. Not crazy about the delineation between the lawn grass and the pebbles, but I'm sure you will do something about it before the grand reveal.

I'm just astonished and amazed at the size of the specimen plants. I'd be surprised if I could afford even one of any of them. I wonder if we could even get most of them here in Australia. What an awe inspiring property and setting.
You and your team are amazing. I love keeping up with you and love this instillation. I live in the Pacific Northwest so my succulents and cactus are indoor in winter and outdoor in summer. Hey what do you call and where can I get the yellow, hand shovel that looks like a modified plastic dish tub. I see the Japanese gardeners using them also. Thanks

Wow! So beautiful, like a natural desert floor. What is the tall (about 4-5') grass-like looking plant that is in the back part of the mound left of the driveway looking toward the house? I'm thinking it would look great in a container in the front of my house.
