Have a referendum about prson reform and limit it to the people in prison, then asked the same referendum questions to the community who suffer the crimes committed by these prisoners. Democracy will come up with different results. BTW I voted SNP all my life and I am 70 years old but after Nicola came on the scene and the political world started changing we found ourselves in a different all game. To become independent as a nation that we so rightly are is an extremely difficult and dangerous task.

The fiscal management is so bad that if a Scottish Pound was created it would quickly become junk status - house and land values would plummet, inflation would be rife and with taxation at the current levels there would be an intense migration of companies and talent to more suitable countries. Now you may not agree, BUT, those are facts. The SNP has set back Independence by about 15 years. Scotland's internal market is small, 60+% of trade is with other parts of the UK, there is little infrastructure to allow EASY access to other market places without going through England, yet Cultists decry the largest market for Scotland's products (England) which is stupid in the extreme. Too many vanity projects, lies, broken promises, misappropriation of funds, pretendy embassies, ferry debacles, Hate Crime Law, anti - wood burning stoves, heat pumps, DRS etc etc all with a focus on the Central Belt. Whoever takes over from Useless has a major, uphill job if they are to bring a glimmer of light to the Independence movement. Swallowing all the lies of extremists will deliver SFA.
