The biggest exposure they've had to metal or rock are songs like Enter Sandman or Nothing Else Matters by Metallica or Back in Black by AC/DC.

There was no real Metal in this, why? Because people who do metal don't get far and usually get buzzed off or stopped. Which I think is ridiculous and stupid. We should either A. Have metal musician judges for these people, or a singing show for metal singers. There are so many great ones and Ive even heard damn good ones on Got Talents, but they never get past round 1, which is frustrating because they're damn good!

Actually, not true. In polish shows metal is pretty appreciated, an in the Voice one of thy judges was Nergal, lead singer of Behemoth, one of the best metal bands :)
