This is the best video ever I seen in Taekwondo. It is really very helpful. I learnt a lot from this video. Thank you so much for making this video ❤❤ love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Unfortunately, the majority of these different blocks and strikes, do not possess the power needed to make them effective. The reason being is the strength of the torso is not being used. Without that strength, it is only the arms supplying the power, which will negate a successful block and strike.
But in all fairness to the young lady, her performance of the elbow strikes, and the other techniques involving the turning of the torso, is very good. Rotating from the horse riding stance to the front stance, using the twisting power of the torso, increases her speed and power.
Then you’re an idiot to think that. There’s also a difference between practicing basics and then using them in combat. In combat you wouldn’t do big movements. For example inside middle block would be used from the fighting stance with the leading hand. Unfortunately your knowledge and understanding has as much depth as a bird bath.

so you also have hooks and uppercuts in taekwondo?
Yes, they are called Ollyeo Jireugi (Upper), and Dollyeo Jireugi (Hook). ☺️
What is the Korean name for a Jab and a Hook?
We can call the jab ‘apson jireugi, 앞손 지르기,’ and the hook ‘dollyeo jireugi, 돌려 지르기.’ Hope this helps! 😉
Very helpful but can you please write their names in Korean please
We will upload a video with Korean names next time 😊
@@BlackEagleMartialArts Thank you so much
