Thank goodness I didn’t forget to subscribe, I thought I lost your channel!! I trust your reviews the most, thank you for always steering us in the right direction Jim!! Love the channel!! Never stop posting!!
Jim: You forgot to mention sunscreen and Aloe Vera! :))) I'd also add to the list a windbreaker jacket, travel clock, yellow marker and ginger bonbons.
Very helpful as I was making my list today for two upcoming cruises! Having worked for an airline, I would comment on baggage tags. I like the ones you mentioned but worry they could come unscrewed. The best tags I've seen were ones like, for example, on Amazon 7 pack Travel More (not pushing them, many people and tourist locations have similar tags)... particularly for putting your name on your travel luggage. You could probably use those straps for the tag holders you showed, they are pretty much bullet proof, never saw one come off a bag. Never use those that have the belt buckle type closure, found hundreds of those that came off bags around the airport. As an aside, Name and phone number, particularly cell are all you need on the other name tags. Putting your address just tells the baggage handlers what house will be empty and your home phone number isn't much help when you are travelling in most cases. I also like to put a copy of my cruise ship baggage tag on top of my clothes inside each suitcase in case a tag does get ripped off. Again, great video.
Forgot one thing...if you are travelling, particularly in the Caribbean, and forget prescription medicine. Many of the ports will let you by things like BP, GERD, and Cholesterol medications in the local pharmacies.
I haven’t been on a cruise yet, but I bring a rechargeable nightlight for hotel bathrooms, and throw a couple of binder clips in my bag. Those have come in handy as a clothespin for wet swimsuits, or to hold gapping curtains closed.
Really great tips. I learned Alot. Just watching your videos makes me excited to go on a cruise. You have a Joyful spirit & l am sure your are a great cruise partner for your wife & fellow cruise travelers.
Hi Jim, thanks again for the interesting list. I was wondering about that huge bottle is Listerine that you packed in a Ziplock bag. I'm sure that it's bigger than 100ml. Don't airlines limit the size of liquids? Thanks again for your video . Cheers from Canada.
I find that the more I cruise, the smaller my list gets. I prioritize my list to those items I can't do without. The rest I will purchase upon arrival if needed. When on excursions, the last thing I want is a heavy backpack or bag, so I use a smaller sling bag, filled with the things that I only need (passports, cash, spare battery, phone, band-aids). This allows me to walk freely and enjoy my time about. Everyone is different, so their list will inevitably differ from mine. However, Jim hits on some really good things to bring. Its all about what you want to have to lug around.
I'm allergic to the hand sanitizer so I bring my own sealed in packets handiwipes (available at Walmart) easy to put in a pocket, in the backpack for going into ports.
If you look in the video's description, you'll find a link to the exact 220 to 110 volt converter that will work on Italian-made cruise ships such as Carnival, Princess, Viking, and MSC.
The Captain announces, "Folks we have a minor issue, we have developed a minor leak on the port side." Jim Zim,- "No worries Captain, I have some duct tape. We can use it to patch and hold that together".

No, I don't think I'll probably ever find myself on Cunard, unless Cunard wants to pay for it. I don't think Cunard would be a good fit for my casual vacation style.

all good tips..but when will ppl wake up..its a holiday.. put your phones away and turned off.. Even if youre a business person.. Nothing is that important and if by chance it is..then they can contact the ship..RELAX AND ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY or why bother going
Take a SCENTED kitchen sized trash bag for the dirty clothes. I take the lavender scented bag.
That's a really good idea! I hadn't thought of that!

This is so great, JimZim! Just sent it to my parents who leave next month on their first-ever cruise.
Great list, Jim! My #1 would be medications because if I don't have them, I'm in serious trouble,
Thank you! Such an interesting suggestions!!!!
A small box. Because if you get a glass model of the ship put the box it is in in the small box.

You put that in checked luggage where it is not limited in size. Carry-on is limited to 3oz.
Only in carryons, not in checked

Great video Jim. Thanks.
What happens if you live 20 from the port of Miami
Just keep a suitcase permanently packed so you can grab those last minute deals!
?
Jim brings seasoned salt. I bring siraha sauce...love it on Thai or Indian food and its hard to find on board.
Thanks
For outlets, make sure you know the difference between an adapter and a converter.

Lowery Season Salt? Never heard of it (UK). Good tips Sir. Best wishes, Bob.
I was waiting for this Jim!

Where did you buy your wig? I like it
I didn't buy it, I borrowed it from Ron Burgundy.
I didn't buy it, I grew it.
That's not a wig, it's a beaver pelt.

Could you do a review on cunards transatlantic Southampton-new York on the queen Mary 2?

YOU SHOULD DECLARE FROM THE OUTSET THAT YOU ARE PROMOTING A SPONSOR...BY PROVIDING A DISCOUNT CODE YOU MUST HAVE AN AFFILIATION
