I have a cousin from Philippine Marine Corps who is now a Colonel for Intel. He said that Philippine Special Forces do exchange soldiers abroad for special training courses and said that most foreign soldiers described our Special Forces Training as with high standards and has a level of more difficulties than the one abroad. If they will set the Philippine Standards in grading their foreign exchange soldiers for training there will be only a few foreign exchange soldiers will pass.
Our jungles has vast vegetation, unforgivable weather and we have the longest coastlines than the US. Our soldiers are battling from all sides with different insurgents funded by greedy people and evil motives.
Philippines Soldiers are the "fighting ace" of Asia. Philippines has so many Special Forces like Israel's IDF (Sayeret Matkal, Shayetet 13, Mossad, Shaldag, Yamam, Shin Bet, Maglan etc etc)

Etnad Ayasiv Iraq & Syria and Marawi are different situations. In Iraq and Syria they had to clear cities and countrysides from those ISIS cunts. But still, they're both examples of ISIS being kicked in the proverbial backside. The Philippine government really needs to be serious and have more sense of urgency in modernising the AFP if they are going to kick these ISIS cunts wherever they pop up. My rant is finished.

Martial Law played a big part in the success in Marawi. The people of Mindanao supported Martial Law because they were tired of the countless negotiations and "peace talks" that really did nothing except form new terrorist groups. With Martial Law, some civil liberties were suspended and curfews were implemented, but the people understood and cooperated. Actually, they felt safer. And the soldiers could do their missions effectively and efficiently.
