- Paul composed this after a visit to St Kilda with the Scottish National Trust Cruise Ship when they managed to land on StKilda . There had been people on StKilda since prehistoric times, they lived on oats, barley cattle ,sheep fish and seabirds StKilda is a major breeding ground for gannets fulmars, puffins, which the islanders used to snare of the cliffs. The StKildans lived in a village on the main island Hirta .The evacuation of the island took place in 1930 The island has a atmosphric and sad feel to it. George Donald is on piano. Pauls email address paulandersonscottishfiddler.com//

Hello Piroska happy you liked it
@@1234549084 I love Scottish music. It is like coming home :-) I just study on my violin together with Greg Borland the essence of this music . It is so rich and I feel 100% connected to it. I also improvise and compose.
These tunes here have a message and enrich the world to a better place.
