Most people aren’t buying stand ups to go in a straight line it’s for handling weight and size since a two stroke is no longer an option the Tr1 is the closest you’ll get
I used to have a square nose superjet. It was a 95 I think. Also had an old Kawi 440 and 550. I've never ridden one of these new 4 strokes. How are they in comparison?
Love your vids. A. Been chatting with Jason at JCRacing. Getting ready to grab racing and mid sponsons. Waddya think of em? B. How’s the JetTrim mat? Was looking at Blowsion.
Hey Beowolf, you said that the Kawi tends to get a little squirrely at speed (as others have mentioned), but you said the JC racing sponsons can fix that. Do they fix the twitchiness and add stability for newer riders? and what parts (specifically) would I want to order? Thanks
I thought my sx-r rode deeper in the water than my old superjet, it’s definitely heavier. My 13 yr old daughter got up on in when she couldn’t on the superjet so I think it’s definitely more stable at low speeds.
I agree. The 1500 is however Very fast and capable especially in rough water. I haven’t ridden the new Yamaha but it looks top heavy and a small pump 140mm meh no thanks. Fun factor is what I look at from my experience the 800 Sxr is more fun than a 1500 by a lot. And even More fun is a 2008+ super jet versatile do anything jetski. 2 strokes imo is 👍my .02$
Bought a SXR 1500 a couple of weeks ago, I’d never ridden a stand up before, I love it.

I have a 2020 sxr and it’s got around 12 hours on it. How often have you heard people having to change the fuel pump or fuel bags ?

Do you have the service Manuel? My Sxr didn’t come with one. Trying to figure out how to change the fuel filter bags. Not sure how to get back there.
Any idea on how to winterize the sxr 1500??
to heavy?
