After watching other videos, I tried and tried to put on new pads. I actually threw the headphones across the room in frustration, and as a 68 years old mother of four and a retired RN, I have patience galore. You are the first one to explain and demonstrate so I was able to replace the pads easy peasy! Thank you, thank you.

Someone else made a comment about their Korean girlfriend using tape, and it is what really helped me. This video helped to know the stitching goes down. I put that stitching where it should be and put a 2-3 inch piece of electrical tape pulling the pad to the headphone, then worked it in to almost halfway up pulling the ear piece tight along the side that was inserted and put another piece of electrical tape here, again compressing the ear tightly down. With just these two spots held it made it pretty easy to work the other side in. Electrical tape is nice too in the sense that it doesn't really leave a residue. Then when I removed the tape I just twisted the earpiece a little so that it sat at the position it wants to. It took less than 5 minutes once I started using tape in the technique.

Thanks for the video! I still struggled a bit at first because the ear pieces kept flopping around in their mounts, until I wedged some tissues between the ear pieces and headband to keep the cups in place and then it worked reasonably well and quickly. Probably got it done in 15 minutes or so.

This video helped me so much. When I first bought these headphones awhile back all the reviews mentioned the agony of replacing the earpads. Well it's been years and it was finally time for me to replace mine lol. Using this vid I managed to get both on in under 15 minutes which must be some sort of feat 🤣 the biggest tip I have is to not be afraid to really dig your fingers into the pads to get it to slot in. You need to be deliberate. Caution I'm not sure if that will lead to tearing but I did it and luckily everything went fine.

Yes, you can hold it in place and work around the rim OR you can just use sticky tape to hold it in place (4 pieces per pad) once you've worked it in, then move on to tackle another 1/4. My wife used this method - she's Korean and they know how to get things done! Me, I was crying like a baby after 10 minutes - before I handed them to her.

I want to echo what others have said - weding tissues or something between the ear piece and the headband helps, because it keeps the ear piece fixed in place and means it's less wobbly. From there, the video's tips about doing the top, compressing the top to keep it and doing the rest with the other hand -- work great.

About to order. I thought you were one of those Chinese sellers that are increasingly using UK address' to pretend they are in the UK, on Amazon, but good to see you are actually in the UK :) Companies House is very useful.

Thanks for this video. I knocked my pad off one side, and when I looked at it I thought it was the worst design I had ever seen. I finally got it back on, thanks to this video. However, I will never buy another Sennheiser product. The entire design was just silly.
