Used to be a quality beer festival there. Weird place as the pub had a rough rep, but the people in the area are minted.

With a look somewhere between Vinnie Jones and Dave Courtney they'd have to be rat arsed to want a go at you mate. I honestly didn't think clubs still existed where comedians did their gigs. I remember the stewt or stoot in the Meadows Nottingham, actually Clifton Miners Welfare ( I even boxed there as an amateur) when comedians were funny and could handle the hecklers. I like Frankie's gig up yorkshire somewhere when they would,nt pay him, he eventually got some money off them and a big fella followed him to the car-park and frankie told them he was sorry he was shit tonight but his girlfriend had just pased away then next thing frankie wa in his car shouting you nob-heads ect and the car stalled and the big fella is hanging off his car shouting he would punch and kill him, I cant remember the rest of the story sorry
