Okay, I'm sixty one years old, a child of the fifties and I've heard a lot of music in my time, but this sound, the music of the Indigo generation, is like NOTHING I've heard before!! Guys like Highly Suspect and this Badflower, these artists are showing more passion, LIFE, in their music than any before! I am 50 and could not agree with you more. Both bands are highly underrated and amazing in concert. Badflower did an acoustic set after their regular show at Sonic Temple this year and I was moved to tears. His voice is pure, raw emotion.
I love that you said that! This guy puts so much into it that...wow. It's like listening to CCR or something, just on a different level or a different version of music. And Highly Suspect, man, those guys make social statements like no other.
Music, the bridge between generations, the highway of life that we drive, forever will it need a soundtrack, so relax and enjoy the ride.
Man, these guys have a way of expressing raw emotion in their music that so many artists are lacking.

I went for a sweet fun one who can sing as good as you, he makes me laugh a lot, and acts like he cares too. So delusional disorder can go fly a kite, cuz I'm tired of being lonely at night.
Saw them live a few weeks back and they did an instrumental cut on the word fake. So it was just him and the audience screaming 'fake like you!' Very cool and very powerful moment.

Josh, the lead singer of Badflower, said in a post when he released this song a couple of years ago, that he will never record this for any platform other than UA-cam. He said he doesn’t want to pitch it and edit it and layer it, because this song is his raw emotions and he doesn’t want to change anything about it for some guy in a suit.

And I don't care who, or when, or how.....the pure release; that ability to vent where others can relate. When you create something you don't realize you're not the only one that's going through similar or particular situations....there's a connection. That's what brilliant music, whoa, I'm sorry.....that's what being a brilliant artist is all about. So sorry you relate this to the 90s just because grunge started then but it's 2018...the feeling never changes. Every generation needs expression. Not saying those bands weren't great by any means....but maybe this is something that's been built off of from the past and is an absolute necessity for the present.

This song reminds me of the toxic relationship I was in over 10 years ago. Back then, we poisoned each other with our behavior. Love is like a drug. Too much of it and the relationship becomes toxic. I've loved this song for a long time. Used to make me sad thinking about my divorce from 16 yrs ago. This morning I cried tears of joy as my 15 month old belted it out. OMG this band has won me TF over like no other ever has. Their songs are fucking emotional AF and I love TF out of it. This song is the total shit man and I mean that in the best way possible.
I absolutely love this band, but try Currents and Sleep Token as well. They're both absolutely brilliant lyrically. Currents is a lot more metalcore though, much harder, but their content is absolutely world class
