Because SGA was average his first for seasons and only played elite level last year and this year.

Defensive player of the year definitely requires your team to have a good defense. A good defender improves overall team defense. That’s why Rudy is so good he is able to roam the paint and dramatically improve team defense just like draymond. Defense is not only blocked shots.

Probably don't want to see him get to 7'6 since getting too ridiculously tall will bring the injury risk even higher if he only grows an inch or bulks up 30lbs. There are upper limits to human anatomy and this guy is already a huge anomaly to be able to move like that because there's not a single NBA giant in the past well above 7ft that is in his league for mobility

@@EMP8711 I think it depends on what position you play and how you play...and also how player takes care of himself. Guys who rely more on athleticism vs skill usually have shorter primes. We're in the same ballpark though. I'd say around late 20s, into early 30s is when it clicks mentally and you're at your peak physically. You hit that sweetspot.

Just based on age you have to go Wemby, Edwards. They are at least 3 years younger than any other star. You could toss Chet in there at 3 based on age, but we don’t know if he can be the focal point of a team yet.
In three years Luka will only be 28 which is literally his prime. He will be the best in the league at that point.
This really shows how crazy wemby potensial is that even with what AE is doing, it is stil wemby by a mile.

Wemby has legit potential to be one of the goats. If he stays healthy, gets thicker, figures out offense, and how to win with team mentality, it will be very scary.

Anthony Edwards has the safer floor since he's proven he's already a superstar capable of handling the #1 role on a strong playoff contender.
Wembanyama has the highest ceiling of any NBA player in NBA history. While we haven't been able to see him lead his team to victory often, he was only a rookie on a minutes restriction on one of the worst teams in NBA history. Wembanyama's in-season growth is also unmatched as he improved with every passing week throughout his rookie campaign, finishing April as a top 5 statistical player (generational defender)!
Wembanyama has to be the choice here.

@@ryanwall1780 Bro what?? I've been watching Wolves games throughout this year and he's gotten cooked plenty of times both on the perimeter and inside the paint. He has the advantage of an extremely intelligent and reactive team defense, putting him in excellent positions to get blocks and in the lane steals. Even with all of those opportunistic advantages, Wemby leads him statistically in a lot of spots. And even if it was off of eye test alone, Wemby would win because most players truly avoid him consistently from game to game.

Unlike other generational talents, Anthony Edwards isn't interested so much in fame because he already knows he's the best, he's interested in winning and, he doesn't care what team he's on, and given all of his talents, he's been quite selfless, allowing other teammates to get involved, so, he's a really great person in addition to being a generational talent, I would go with Edwards over victor, but, they both have great dispositions

Luka was better at 22. It's crazy how overrated Ant has become. He is a slightly less athletic, less strong, and smaller lebron, minus the IQ, minus the passing, minus the leadership, minus the efficiency, all of which don't suddenly go to the roof as you age. He tries on defense I give him that but he's not a great defender. And because of all that he has a very capped ceiling. He is closer to Ja Morant and Zion than he is to Luka/Jokic/Wemby. Imo he's never going to be a true top 3 player. Putting him at 2nd to build team around is absolutely insane. Wemby, Jokic, Luka, Giannis just have to come before him.
