Chara at 10 is too low, he's easily top 2. His team mate being the only real challenger there. The guy literally tried to kill someone a foot shorter than him, broke his neck and left him with a brain injury in an illegal attack and got no punishment because his teammate's dad was in charge of 'discipline'. Doesn't get much more pathetic than that.

Steve Ott should definitely be on this list. And I'm pretty sure Raffi Torres is more hated than Brad Marchand (but I'm a hawks fan so I could be biased)
I have a feeling the guy who made this list is a fan himself. Marchand and Chara aren`t that much hated outside of rival teams fanbases. I know a lot of guys who like the power and pride they put into their game. And Chara isn`t a dirty hitting player. He hits hard, sure, but look at him, every hit with a little speed of this guy feels like a truck hitting you.
PK Subban he was the most loved player in Montreal. And he was the best defence men. What about Sean Avery is he not hated

Crosby is hated because he gets away with everything. if he got called more he wouldn't even be close to his current stats

lucic is hated because I can't take the consquences of his physical playstyle... He plays physically and good but whenever he recieves a hit he thought was dirty (but mostly it wasn't) he - and the rest of the bruins - go crazy and engage a brawl/fight... that's not the way it works. you can't hit as hard as possible not expecting any consequences. and that's exactly what lucic does. and because of this he is hated and deserves to be on this list.
Marchand is one of the best players in the league in fact he has the most points since the beginning of the year in the league, not enough evidence? Let's see he's the leading scorer in points and goals for Boston, he's tied for second in the league in points, note that may have changed so I apologize if that inaccurate, he is tied for second in goals, I think I made my case. But I wish he didn't slew players feet because if he didn't he wouldn't be hated. Or never mind because he's almost as good as Crosby

Good list! I hate Chara for another reasom that you did not mention and that is because he gets away with most penalties out of any player. He makes contact with the head ever single time he throws and hit and it is not just because he is so tall. He will literally go aim for it and the refs always overlook it. If he ever gets beat on the outside he is 100% giving that player a good slash, which also never gets called
