It's kinda funny that the moment Gabe kicked that walker away from Javi, He magically died and did not get up to finish the job. xD
To be quite honest, I was one of the very few who didn't mind David more than dislike him. Don't get me wrong, none of The Garcia Family are among my favorites throughout the series, but David doesn't deserve much hate than he was given by the fans. Yes, he was a bit harsh on his family even with causing a scene to Javier at the beginning. Yes, he may have been grown a harder shell around himself than ease up like Javi has opened up to other survivors...but he always thought his family first over all the other higher-ups in Richmond. It's why I never sided with Kate but always ensured to keep a brotherly bond between Javier and David like their father would've wanted from that flashback.
This scene embodies why I truthfully wish TTG around the time allowed the Writers to make a compelling path Players could have potentially experienced with David in a redeeming arc instead of this forced Dramatic Mexican Soap Opera crap especially by the tasteless Love Triangle they tried to pull at the end. DON'T even get me started there! Nevertheless, this is a pretty grand edit as I hope it opens a perspective to other players that David didn't seem so half bad as a Character from Season Three as much of a trainwreck it really was behind the scenes.
I’ll admit David was a hardass and it made it difficult to be nice to him sometimes, but I’ll never betray my brother *ESPECIALLY* for HIS WIFE?! Whoever chose 😐 to return Kate’s feelings aren’t good people I don’t care how romantic you think their relationship is... Even when he took his anger out on me I still showed him love and went after him and Gabe because I made Javi promise their dad that he’ll always be a good brother _”Legacy, Javier. It’s all we ever leave behind.”_
@@ELECTRICxCLAM Ikr! Like I can't find myself attracted to that ship...and don't even get me started on Clementine's especially with Gabe by the end (if he didn't survive).
One of the biggest reasons why I could not find myself at trying to be more invested into A New Frontier.
Good thing that in my Definitive Edition playthrough clem went with me, bad and regret that I romanced her because I expected to get the Ending where David dies only. At least IF they make a Season 5 with the Garcia Family then I'll get a good relationship with Gabe and David instead of Gabe and Kate. Know that I have the Collection edition too.
Tbh I'm sorry to say this but I love almost all the characters in this game including the new frontier so as Conrad and trip and Eleanor
@ELECTRICxCLAM what? Just because people chose Kate, doesn't make them bad. It's their choice. Don't be dumb
Imagine, Javier dies, and then you control clementine, you continue the story from her point of view with choices you can take, and people will occasionally bring up javis death, talking about how much they miss javi (if you were doing a bad choices run some of them would be like calm and stuff about this information, maybe even glad. While others go "he wasnt the greatest of people, but at least he was there for us."), of course, in this scene youd take control of david since that fits anyways, then afterwards, you control clementine again, then you attempt to cut your own hair (or optionally ask someone else to do it for you instead) and then eventually clementine continues her story, going to season 4.

If only Choices did have different outcomes and endings but that would take Telltale years more to put all of those alternative endings that are actually possible because that would mean season 4 would have different outcomes along with different characters

There's a choice where Clementine decides to save Richmond rather than going with Javi. Are you able to do another alternative ending where both David and Javier die while both Gabe and Kate survive?
