  • Welcome! This walkthrough is for Expanse, Available here

    This sound bank is for Arturia Pigments. This demo has no processing. The sounds are right from the synth.
    Pigments Expanse includes 130 presets for Arturia Pigments V3
    Expanse explores a wide landscape of cinematic sounds, covering mysterious ambiances, aggressive bass tones and sequences, up to sonorous leads and rich expressive pads. The patches are designed to compliment each other, helping to create tension and release.
    Inspired by dark indie movie synth scores and big budget lush scores alike. This expansion aims to give artists a broad pallet of well crafted sounds, perfect for creating rich background layers or bold upfront compositions, or of course a mix of both.
    Patches have been carefully programmed with various mod wheel, aftertouch and macro controls, and tagged in Pigments internal browser system.
    Also included are additional samples (loaded along with the bank, baked into the patches). These come from amazing analog modules and synths.
    Custom sample content
    Macro, Modwheel and aftertouch assignments
    MIDI from audio demo included

    Hi i bought this bank from you but when I import it it doesn't pop up in "my banks" it just goes into the regular preset section which makes it difficult to know which one is factory and which is yours. Any idea how to fix this?

      Ohh i just figured it out, you have to click on the 3 lines next to the preset name haha

    What's the difference between a sequence and an arp ?

    • @AiynZahevSounds
      @AiynZahevSounds  2 роки тому +2

      An Arp takes the notes you input and sets them to a rhythm and automates octave switching or whatever other parameters the arp has to play with. A Sequence is a pre-programmed set of notes. Arps are good for fitting into a piece of music you're working on, sequences are good for inspiration as track ideas, or a piece to build a song around, or a lucky coincidence that it already fits what you're working on. In practice though it varies a lot, a sequences could just be a set of root notes for example which means it will always fit a track if you play it in key, but it might not work very well over multiple octaves so it's not really suited to be an arp.

      @@AiynZahevSounds cheers for that Sami . I was aware that an arp is made up of a chord for example broken into notes , but creating a sequence using a synths built in arp I wasn't sure of the difference. Basically switching to step mode on an arp now puts you in sequence mode ? Also would you call sequences the theme of a track ? Also would you layer sequences to create a theme , or use say 2 sequences individually in different parts of the track to create the main sections? Thanks for your detailed reply . This knowledge and transparency Is impossible to find on UA-cam , so thanks for that 👍
