When Bitcoin was created in 2009, miners received 50 bitcoins as a reward for each block they mined. In 2012, the first halving occurred, reducing the reward to 25 bitcoins per block. In 2016, the second halving took place, reducing the reward further to 12.5 bitcoins per block. The most recent halving occurred in May 2020, reducing the reward to 6.25 bitcoins per block.

To me,all that halving means is miners get less Bitcoin to dump on the open market,but the processing power will probably turn to mud as miners throw in the towel and shut their Riggs off . And then the whole thing collapses like tulip mania

Such a shame you use background music on videos. Makes it impossible for me to use your good UA-cam channel. Can't concentrate with distracting, fast beat music. Makes me dizzy. I'm a migraine suffere with Attention Deficit. Wish you'd leave it to people to play the music of their choice at the same time as listening/watching informative UA-cam videos- if indeed they even need to. Totally. The constant hammering, dizzying music is a deterrent if anything, not an added selling point. A case of see if you can survive the video.
