When I was five years old my folks took me to watch this movie at a drive-in theater. I can still remember how scared I was when the giant Disney animator's created monster hit the protective force field around the ship. Great movie! I have it on DVD and watch it from time to time. I still love it!

Among my ideas include a female science officer who would provide a love-interest for Morbius; a female Robbie whose brain is created from the thought-wave patterns of Morbius' deceased wife; and more information about the Krells - including showing the terrible night when their civilization was destroyed when all their ID monsters were unleashed. The possibilities are endless.

You're not wrong about that, when i created this , it was just to experiment with Ai creations, I had no idea that it would get over 10K views lol, I just started this channel less than a month ago , with 0 views and subscribers, so i was not expecting that anyone would really see it, however for my future trailers I will make sure they are more accurate
This was my very first video on this channel when I had 0 views and 0 subscribers, it was more of an experiment with creating this type of AI video than creating something accurate. I did it just for fun not expecting a lot of views. I know a lot of people are upset at the absence of Robbie and other things that are "not" accurate, however, that wasn't the original intention, I also had no idea this video was going to blow up with over 16K views at the time of this post. So due to all the comments, I just wanted to clarify this. tx

I’ve seen Forbidden Planet on the big screen probably 10 times. The UofA student union had a large single screen theater, with an extensive collection of house films. They would run Forbidden Planet at least 3 times a year. Tickets were 1.25 for student’s and kids 12 and under were free.
I don't know what the others are thinking, but this film clip is light years ahead of the original movie! The images are simply spectacular! I am impressed with how this guy is able to take characters we all know very well and make them many times more intriguing! My question to the creator of this clip is when are you going to put out a full length movie? I would gladly pay to watch it and I know millions of others eager for something new and more powerful will do the same! By the way, I've watched forbidden planet countless times over the years and I have enjoyed watching it, but it still doesn't come close to the concepts in this clip!
Thanks , I was just having fun with experimenting with things as this was my first Ai video when i had no views / subscribers, I got alot of hate because this did not represent the " original "version....The only issue with creating a full length version is the time it takes...a 2 min video like this can take well over 20 hours to complete, so image how many hours it takes for a full 2 hour movie lol, but I appreciate your comments! :)
I good reimagining but I really wanted to see how they did Robbie the Robot. There is only a glimpse of a humanoid robot. After the 1952 movie Robbie went on to great success in Television I believe he had his own show and he had a guess appearance on Lost in Space. He finally passed away of old age in the early 1970s on the Mork and Mindy show.
Making the C-57D a rocket ship was a big step back for me. If i recall correctly it was the first time at least for movies/tv that humans were seen using a flying saucer type design. And FP was a major inspiration for Star Trek so doubly problematic to use "out dated" rockets.

THE FORBIDDEN PLANET WAS A 1950s SUPER PANAVISION MOVIE..I think the whole idea of these simulated trailers is to depict what a modern movie would look like if it had been filmed in the 50s.
I realize a lot of channels are rendering modern films into 50's style , however this was not the point for this one , I just wanted to have some fun with "redoing" this into a trailer
Hollywood has been planning a remake of this for years and scripts have even been written, but it just never comes together. Creature from the Black Lagoon is the same, plans which get started and are then abandoned. But I expect it will happen some day and I wouldn't be surprised it if looks just like this.
At least the Musical-track isn't as screwed up and filtered-out of recognition as most of the other Channels making these AI ditties. And in Stereo, too! Oh, and there isn't any phony Film-grain scratches ruining the video-footage, either. Good Job!!

Just discovered your account, and I'm loving it. I don't know what kind of program you're using to create these, but you could expand so much more. Like the MCU done by the Benny Hill Show, the Blair Witch Project done by Disney or any Disney movie done by the Twilight Zone. I would love to see any one of these.

Fine. I liked it. Just one thing: when a rocket lands, the smoke and dust flow away from it's bottom, not TO the bottom. Maybe the mistake comes from showing the take off backwards to save resources. Don't know. But the sinopsis of the movie is good, and the images are far less naives than the original ones.
Thanks, AI is a very unpredictable creature at this point...therefore no matter how I tried to get the video to make it look like it was landing, it kept doing the opposite, so i had to put the video clip in reverse... sometimes the suggestion is all that can be done until AI gets better
