@@WardenCinematics The narration should not give away the betrayal of house Atreides by the emperor & house Harkonnen. That would be a mistake for a trailer. The entirely white cast is appropriate for a 1950s film and both commendable in staying era appropriate and quite jarring to see nowadays as it's quite illogical for desert people to be white and would be re-cast more appropriately nowadays (without wanting to get into tiresome identity politics at all).

The problem isn’t the lack of clothes. Plenty of women these days dealing with the same issue. No, the problem lies in one generation having class and the other…without.

I am not joking: if they did a new SciFi movie in exactly this Neo-Retro style, with actors who had such classic faces, leaving the worn out postmodern tastes behind, it would be so alien and wondrous it could be revolutionary

@@BoatMurderedDF Thing is...they're all mentally ill, not just the breathtaking beauties. It comes with the package. So if you're going to have to constantly cope with an unstable, disloyal, irrational, narcissistic nutjob, you may as well hold out for a pretty one.
Irulan, in this animation, is appropriately goddess-like and perfect ;D Much like the "original" Dune. For all of its weirdness, it had an appropriately-amazing Princess Irulan.
It looks great but I have two small complaints: Feyd should have dark hair, not bald, and Lady Jessica should have auburn hair. Other than that, this is how I pictured it looking when I read it, long ago, in seventh grade.
Dune and the Mystery of "Spice" In Frank Herbert’s epic sci-fi world of Dune, everything revolves around the precious "Spice", also known as Melange. But what exactly is Spice, and where does it come from? The answer lies on the desert planet Arrakis, the only source of this coveted substance in the universe. Spice is the cornerstone of the entire galactic society, as it not only extends life but also grants the ability to navigate through space. However, when you look closer, you realize that Spice is basically an organic byproduct. It’s a result of the life cycle of the Sandworms-giant creatures that live deep beneath the sands of Arrakis. The Sandworms and their larvae affect the desert’s chemical processes, ultimately creating the Spice. As we were discussing it, my conversation partner said, “So, Spice is kind of like Sandworm poop?” And yeah, that’s a surprisingly accurate comparison! Just like earthworms on Earth enrich the soil by processing organic matter, the Sandworms of Arrakis digest the desert’s elements and, through their biological processes, produce the coveted Spice. In other words: The people in the Dune universe are basically consuming worm shit! So, next time you sprinkle some Spice in your space latte, just remember: Bon Appetit... or should I say, Bon Ape-poop!
One of my favorite Epic stories. The book is a must read! If the princess looked like that though, I don't think Paul would have left her "childless". So, she probably didn't look like that in the story. lol

Surprisingly similar to how I pictured it. Even Gurney. I imagined all other Dune characters different from the movies except Paul and Gurney. I could not help but use the actors as reference for those two characters because they were too perfect.
I've seen enough thumbnails to get a feel for what content works best for this genre. If it turns out that Fritz Lang's Metropolis isn't practical to do, I have a different suggestion for a sci-fi flick I haven't seen anyone else do and that I know fits the requirements for a good video and, maybe even more importantly, a good thumbnail. Barbarella.
I want to see this movie more than any of the other Dune adaptations. I mean, it's clearly Burt Reynolds as Duke Leto, Marlon Brando as Baron Harkonnen, Martin Sheen as the Emporer, Peter O'Toole as Stillgar, and even (Kinda) Patrick Stewart as Gurney Halleck. Plus, the AI seems to have a better grasp of the plot than some of the humans who have actually produced Dune adaptations. I hope someday we can make this trailer into an actual movie.
