Just discovered this song/band, MAN! They took me back to the 80's, serious rock!! The first song to give me chills in a Couple of years and I am reeling!! Anyone else feel it like that?
No, I've liked them since 88' 😂....you know the vocalist is early 80s Thin Lizzy keyboard player Darren Wharton?...Prof Brian Cox was in them for their first two albums. All their albums are great.
I love the band, Vinny Burns plays a lot .... Darren Wharton is also outstanding, very talented musicians but little known here in Brazil ... long live DARE
Met Darren years ago when playing as a duo in a pub in Cheshire,talked about working with Phil Lynott in Thin Lizzy ,very nice guy ,Dare his own band are fantastic!!
One of the most underrated/overlooked bands of all time that never disappoints you. (Although the beginning of the song reminds of "Into the fire" 😉) Welcome back, Dare!
Great !! In a more than ever unstable world it's fantastic news to have a new album coming by one of AOR's finest bands ever ! Hats off to Darren and the guys for keeping the flame alive for more than 30 years !! Now can s.o. please skip winter's february & march and land us on april 1st....!!
Has the Out Of The Silence meets Blood From Stone vibes after all these years. Unbelievable new music from Dare. The band sounds young and energized. Can't wait to hear the rest!
Saw them live last night local at The Queens Hall Nuneaton ...Awesome band Awesome night...First heard them back in 1991 when I bought their "Blood from Stone " album...on cassette! Best track for me..."We don't need a reason" which they played last night along with their haunting slower version if Lizzys Emerald....pure professional classic rock at its best 👌
Many thanks for this amazing return. Darren is one of the best voices in the world and the touch of Vinny Burns adds something great, his work with TEN was outstanding and I love both bands, but seeing him with Darren again is really good.
An exceptional track from an exceptional band. Let's hope it gets the exposure it so deserves and goes on to be a huge success for Darren and the boys. They deserve it, as anybody that has seen Dare live will attest to.
Do check out their catalog. It's an extensive one and their debut album is considered an AOR classic! Their second album 'Blood from Stone' is by far their heaviest and you can hear Vinny Burns unleashed. Definitely a band that flies under the radar.

Oh man, I'm so happy that Dare is doing something again. Darren still has his awesome voice...bought it. Although I would be more happy about a vinyl.

I really wish they’d reissue those first two albums with all the B-sides included; they did some excellent ones back then that you just can’t get now.
