How is the Afterparty for wobble during travel, i am wanting to get the mount but not sure if i want the Afterparty or the non swing out version of the Flat rack.
I think it locks up super solid, I havent had any issues with excessive wobble. The swing out its self locks up with a big bolt. I still take it easy over big offroad obstacles, but id probably do that with any rack. The swing out is a game changer for me I dont think I could go back to a non swing version. My last set up was a saris swingout adapter with a yakima hold up evo. It was heavier and stuck out way to far behind the truck bumper even when folded.
@@billingsfmx I Really like the Rocky guiderail has awesome reviews. but here in Canada they are not cheap over 1K and there is a 300 dollar difference in the two. this will be my first flat rail rack going on my Jeep Gladiator and with the price i only want to have to purchase once. Halling Old School downhill bikes. Thanks for the reply it helps, still undecided but it will be one of the two.
@radioactivescalerc yeah it really just comes down to how often youll use the swing out. I have a topper on my tacoma and camp a lot back there and always find my self using the swing to ease loading and unloading. I also live like 5 minutes from the RockyMounts warehouse in Grand Junction so it was nice to support local. Cant go wrong with either one.
@@billingsfmx Me too in Alberta so go camping in the Rockies alot and i have a travel trailer and will put the rack on it when i go there with trailer so want a staple rack back there since i can't see my expensive bikes when in travel.
