Brother PE800 Embroidery Machine- www.sewingmach...
***If you are looking for the next step up from the PE800, the machine I would recommend is the Brother Innov-is NQ1700E - www.sewingmach... This machine has both a 5x7 and 6x10 hoop so you can do bigger projects. Also it has extra features like it stitches faster than the PE800 so you finish things quicker and it cuts you jump stitches, which just trust me on this, you will LOVE this feature . This machine in a nice jump up from the PE800 but still much more affordable than fancy multi-needle machines that cost $$$.

Thank you. I am practicing for my first tshirt. Your video was most helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
I’m totally new to Machine Embroidery (Janome 550e). I’m going to watch a few videos before I jump in. Thank you for being my first video. I’ll near to learn about the different stabilizers, etc. Do you have any videos geared to the “pre k” embroidery person - me!?❤
Just watched your video - loved your teaching methodology. I look forward to viewing more.
Thank you so much!!
I needed to see this for sure! I will be making a few 2T shirts/dresses until we get to move up in size :)
Glad it helped you!
I am new to embroidery, don't have my machine yet, but looking into it. Been watching allot of video's and came across your channel, I love it. Thank you for sharing. Now to catch up with all your video's :)
Thank you so much for watching! Come join my Facebook group. In the Units section of the group I have a whole section on how to buy the right machine for what you need :) facebook.com/groups/206454390724948/
Perfect! Just the information I needed. You are the bomb!
Thank you!! Glad it helped!
Hi Karlie! I love your video. Thanks so much for the explanations. They are really helpful to me as a beginner. Be Blessed!
Thank you!! I'm so glad it was helpful :)

Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
I really liked that you were straight forward and made this easy to follow!! I’m new to my machine and was flustered but I’m starting to get the. Ideal and I plan to get all my materials together to start my mission!!
Yay I'm glad this video was helpful for you!
Very helpful, thank you. I must try embroidering on t-shirts.
You’re welcome 😊
Thank you so much ,i feel very confuse about wich stabilizer to use ,and you explain very clear and also thanks for you tips about the tape, blessings.
So glad I could help! I actually just wrote a post about stabilizers yesterday on my blog. You can read more here- www.karliebelle.com/all-about-stabilizers-for-machine-embroidery/
Thank you!❤
Karlie, do you still use this method when hooping shirts? Will this method apply to sweatshirts for adults as well? I know this video is a few years old. So thought I’d ask if you still use this method?
Thank you for the video
Thanks for watching!
Hello! Would you mind linking the video that shows the device you use with hooping smaller shirts? I can't seem to find it in your videos
did you ever make a video on the device? if not, could you tell me what it is? thank you!
I am fairly new to machine embroidery and I found this tutorial so helpful. I want to only use part of a design on a t-shirt. How do I figure out how to place it in the center of the t-shirt??? Do you by any chance have a tutorial on that???
you have a couple of options. First print out the design from your embroidery software so that you can see the whole design and pin it on the shirt where the part of the design you want is int he center of the shirt. However, when you get to the machine, move the needle to be in the center of the whole design. Then just skip the steps that you don't want.
Your other option would be to open the design in a program like Embrilliance Essentials, and delete the parts of the design you don't want, then re-center your new design.
@@KarlieBelle Thank you so much for responding. That makes perfect sense. I have an older machine, so I’m not sure about the second suggestion, but the first one should work perfectly. Thank you so much!
I am new to embroidery and I’m just coming across your videos! I love them. I do have a question though. Do you have to use the mesh stabilizer for shirts ?
Yes, especially for white shirts I always use poly mesh cut away but I add a layer or two of tear away with it depending on how thin the shirt is. If it is a darker shirt and I'm not worried about seeing the outline of the stabilizer through the shirt, I will sometimes use regular medium weight cut away.
Hi Karlie. Love your channel! Great videos great teaching. One question. What do you do with the stabilizer u iron on the shirt when you finish the stitch out? Do you remove it? Does it tear off after you Orion it on? I’m so very new to embroidery I’m trying to pick my way through all the info! Thank you.
Yes I tear away the stabilizer when I am done. I usually just get the area around the design off and leave the inner parts, but if it bothers you, you can tear it all away.
Did you make a video on the device you used to keep the fabric out of the way
No, I don't use the device anymore, but if you would like to look it up, its called JTHoopitup.
I love your videos and I just wanted to know is the second stabilizer that you used is it a iron on also.
Thank you so much! Yes the tear away that I used is also an iron on stabilizer :)
@@KarlieBelle What brand is this?
The tear away I use is Sulky brand amzn.to/2Ioh7aW
Is your tear away fusible too?
Yes I like to always get the fusible kind
Hi Karlie Belle! I found your website and am so glad you have a youtube channel too! Your website is awesome btw. Great video, but I do have a couple of questions. Why do you use 3 different types of stabilizers? The mesh, the tear away and the water soluble. Are all 3 necessary? Could I use only the mesh? It's so confusing. Thanks for all your help in advance!
Thank you Michelle!! Yes for knit fabrics like t-shirts and onesies I like to use both poly mesh and tear away. I have also see some people use 2 layers of poly mesh but this adds a little more bulk to the inside of the shirt. Tear away is also a great stabilizer for other projects like towels, blankets and sturdy materials on bags. The last thing I used is called a topper and it prevents threads from sinking down into the fabric on the front of the shirt. I also use topper on towels and blankets. I know for stabilizers it seems like a lot but I have 5 that I use in different combinations for all kinds of projects and its good to have each one in your craft stash. Come join my Facebook Group and you can see more of what I'm talking about. I have a video there that goes over all the stabilizers and what I use each for :)
Can you use the 5 x 7 hoop with grid for larger or smaller toddler size shirts
I typically used 5x7 hoop for size 9mth- 3T. For 4T and up I turn the hoop so that the design is 7 inches wide and 5 inches tall on the the shirt
I cut mine with pinking shears and found the corners
Oieee poderia ensinar a técnica para bordar fraldinhas de bebê?? Obrigada por seus ensinamentos😘🇧🇷
Do you do tutorials on SE1900?
All of the tutorials that I give on my PE770 or PE800 would be exactly the same process for the SE1900. These machines all have the same embroidery features :)
@@KarlieBelle OUTSTANDING!!!!
@@KarlieBelle so looking forward to coming up to speed...!!!
where did you get your iron?
I got it with my Oreck vacuum as a free gift. They are discontinued now, but I found a similar one from Panasonic that comes with a stand like mine amzn.to/2EvMgLg
Hi do u have the video for hooping the onesie?
Cee Denise not yet but I plan on doing one soon 🤞
I just upload a video on how to hoop and embroider a onesie 😁
Karlie Belle awesome! Thank u!
Hi ...where can I get the docking stand for my iron like yours? Thanks !
It actually came with my iron and I have been unable to find anything like it. I did however find a similar cordless iron that comes with its own docking station that looks really nice amzn.to/2EvMgLg
Just found your site on UA-cam. Love your explanations and demonstrations. One comment, please turn off the background “Music” in the background while you are talking. It’s very distracting and annoying. Thank you again for your great videos.
Yes unfortunately I thought this was the cool thing to do at the time 😂🤦♀️. Thanks for your feedback. I mostly do just live videos now which have no background music, but may have crazy kid interruptions instead 😆
