    This video is great for hooping correctly, but you don't show trying to hoop straight, on any kind of lines or anything. You are just hooping in a random spot. I need to learn how to hoop directly center, and straight on a line, and it escapes me. lol I will watch more of your videos. Thanks.

    I use a combination of a couple of the methods you demonstrate. I wrap my hoop with Coban and use "T" pins to hold the stabilizer. I haven't hooped fabric or a garment in decades. I have a couple of Bernina 830 machines that have the capability of moving the design in the machine to correspond to the markings on the fabric eliminating the need for gadgets for aligning fabric in the hoop. For very precise alignment I digitize a specific basting box around the design, stitch it out on the stabilizer first then I align my fabric to the that outline on my stabilizer. For me, my method has always worked successfully.

    John, I have a SWF 1501 and use Hatch v2. I know you explained why round hoops are so much better with reducing fabric shifting, but I'm seriously looking at adding a mighty hoop or other magnetic hoop to my system. I currently use a large DURKEE 12"x12". What's your favorite magnetic hoop and what would you recommend for my large embroidery of motorcycles which is mostly done on Dickies workshirts or cotton poly blends.

Right now I just want to learn to run embroidery designs correctly. I’m very grateful for your generosity in providing this video. I’m wondering if you can show at some point what a design should look like on the back and samples of bad vs good and why?

      Hey Ninette! It’s great to see you exploring embroidery on UA-cam! I totally get your interest in how the back of a design should look. We can deffinitely create a video that shows comparisons of good versus bad stitching on the back, so stay tuned for that! It’ll really help you understand what to aim for. Happy stitching, and keep up the awesome work!

  • @camckenzie

    No fair luring BEGINNERS who are most likely using a machine limited to a 4×4 hoop into buying your "packs" with MANY designs that can ONLY be run on larger hoops. Why not make ALL the designs in your packs sized for 4×4 hoops with a larger option?
    I like your videos, but this is disappointing.

    • @EmbroideryLegacy
      @EmbroideryLegacy  3 роки тому +1

      Digitizing designs to all fit in a 4x4 hoop isn’t realistic due to details being too small for stitches at that size. We do have thousands of designs that will fit in 4x4 and designs that go all they way up to a 9.5 x 14, something for everyone. Everybody starts at the beginning (smaller hoops), historically those that fall in love with Embroidery move up to larger hoop sizes eventually.

    I have a Janome. Would the hooping stations at the end work for my machine?
