- In this episode, I'll explain a VOR/DME approach, followed by flying the VOR/DME Approach for RWY36L at OPLA - Lahore at night.
The main runway for OPLA 36R / 18L is being reconstructed, which means only the secondary runway (36L / 18R) is available. RWY 36L also has a CAT I ILS approach which was inoperative on this particular day due to maintenance, so we opted to fly the VOR/DME approach instead.

It seems easier than analog cockpit but shows people who start drive to learn on Automatic transmission car can not drive manual car. I think same is the case of Analog and digital cockpit.
Yes, however it is also a faster aircraft with more complex systems, if you do not understand them properly that can be a problem

What are visual limitations in VOR/DME as you comin in offset. Second Question. Why don't VOR are fixed in alignment with runway bearing?
Third, Do airliner Jets fly such approach maneuver on VOR/DME or they fly ILS/GNSS only?

The minimum limitations is given on the Approach chart (1200 feet) in this case
It depends on case to case basis, usually if you want it exactly aligned with runway bearing, you have to place VOR on one end of the runway, which is usually not possible due to obstacle issues.
Airliners can fly this approach also, but they usually prefer ILS or GNSS due to its accuracy and ease over VOR/DME
