Ahh that's so kind thank you 😊 My body is nightmare to sew for too! You've just got to work out how to solve fitting issues, having a basic block that fits you like a glove is a great place to start. You can then use it to adjust other patterns and then you'll be unstoppable ❤️

I saw a photo of the duchess of Cornwall in a green pin tuck dress which I loved and found a patter Wichita is the xanthe dress from style arc .the duchess dress was probably Cashmere which I can’t afford so looking for some fabric .Any Suggestion’s? 😁😁
Hi Gina, only just found your channel and I am very impressed, I am a good at sewing but have trouble fitting myself and altering patterns. I have two questions. One is that I always stay clear of viscoes because I have always found that it always creases so much. But I see lots of your fabrics contain it. satins and linin etc. Have the made it non crease now? On one of your videos you showed some beautiful Broad Anglaise that was printed and I think you bought two lots from Roys , but I believe they don't have a web site and I live in Spain so I cannot not visit their shop, can you recomend a site that I can buy some from. I made my own wedding dress and it was the best thing I did plus 4 bridesmaid dresses, so go for it. Gwen

I am currently sewing some linen summer dresses , but I love autumn/winter dresses too. Have you seen the simple Bara Studio Mila dress? Americans call the shape turtlenecks but I think you would call this a polo. Please advise! I love your pattern choices for cardigans to wear over lighter dresses. I have been trying to find more dressmakers to watch who have current tastes. So glad I found your channel! Thank you!

@@ginaseams Hi Gina, It is getting cold and rainy here in Oregon, USA, but I am going on holiday to Mazatlan, Mexico in December! It’s my first real ‘holiday’ where I am staying at a hotel by the beach. So all I can think about are summer dresses! I have watched many videos from The Fold Line and perused their pattern shop, which is how I learned about Bara Studios. They have so many pattern makers that I had never heard of. I can’t think about sweaters right now, but I will when I get back. Best wishes, Denise
It’s so amazing! Would love to see how you attached the feathers and what sort of trim you used. I love that look but wouldn’t know where to start. Also, can you wash feathers? Or do you plan to just hand wash the top half of it when needed?
Thank you! I actually hand stitched the feathers on it was so much easier! I got them off of eBay I'll see if I can find a link 😊 I'd definitely hand wash the top I reckon these feathers would fall apart in the machine ❤️
Loved this video. I’m a dress girl in the summer but don’t wear so much in the winter because I never know what to wear on my feet. What do you pair with your winter dresses?
Footwear is always a struggle isn't it?! I quite like the chunky boots and dresses look, I have some black combat boots I wear a lot and some pointy snake print ankle boots for plain dresses. Suede knee high boots or over the knee boots are essential, with my midi dress they cover up my legs so I can put really thick tights or leggings underneath. Extra warmth but still looks chic! It's a really difficult one and I totally understand feeling that way. I've loved and sewn their patterns for a long time, I was torn for a while. They have moved their headquarters for the English site to the US now and have been openly anti-war which is why I have continued to support them ❤️

Quite to the contrary, this is my favourite season to sew as I love tailoring jackets, blazers and coats. Love to work with woolens.

You need to put the patterns closer to your camera so that your audience can see them better.
I really like the Vikki Sews aesthetic, but given they are a Russian business feel quite awkward about making any purchase at this time.
