Honestly I felt the opposite. In Toho’s MG, all varieties, MG had a huge arsenal and with it he managed to unleash hell on to Godzilla but legendary’s I felt like all he really did was punching and only a couple times, rockets and the laser breath.

Here's what I saw in THIS Mechagodzilla: Being made of metal, Mechagodzilla could withstand multiple blows from Godzilla and Kong before being torn apart by Kong's powered-up battle axe. The tail of Mechagodzilla is equipped with a deadly drill that it attempted to use against Godzilla and Kong. Mechagodzilla is equipped with crane-like claws. The interiors of these claws are adorned with industrial buzz saws, allowing them to cut through flesh while grappling. Mechagodzilla can even rotate its hands like drills, delivering extra damage. He has shoulder-mounted missile launchers capable of momentarily stunning Godzilla. Mechagodzilla possesses a red energy beam, capable of burning through adult Skullcrawlers and knocking down Godzilla. This beam also has the power to beam-lock with, and overpower Godzilla's atomic breath, although it should be noted that Godzilla had already used his atomic breath extensively and wasn't at his full power after having just battled Kong. Unlike his previous incarnations, this Mechagodzilla has enhanced physical abilities and human-like reflexes that enabled him to able to physically overpower both Godzilla and Kong in the final fight, despite the robot being outnumbered, although it must be noted that both Titans were extremely exhausted after fighting each other. He has thrusters mounted into his back, close to his metal dorsal plates enabling quick bursts of movement, or added momentum to his strikes. These thrusters can make Mechagodzilla more agile in close-quarters combat, helping it gain the upper hand against Godzilla. Finally, Mechagodzilla was able to use the energy from the Hollow Earth by charging it into its hands and feet, allowing it to perform devastating hits on Godzilla and Kong.

Good idea but he's not wearing police vests they could make smaller things for Kong for example in the hollow earth we see multiple godzilla dorsal plates king could wear those as armor in his shoulder or back how will he get them to stay there? Humans using regular resources or titan skin humans could easily mend a wearable dorsal fin otherwise something like kongs axe wouldn't be capable
Since the brain is Ghidorah's, is it possible that Ghidorah's brain will remember Godzilla and now know his weaknesses and from there makes MechaG fight better against him? With Kevin's thirst for revenge!!!

I Love that they made a legendary version of Kiryu but whit a ghost of Ghidorah
Not really kiryu was his own guy guy and did his own thing, legendary mecha G was more like ghidorah's hatred reformed into the very titan he hated.

You know the part I find interesting is that if I'm not mistaken despite Gidorah's biology of which more or less allows every fiber of its being to exist throughout its entire body despite any physical separation, they were using Kevin's head if I remember correctly.
The next logical step is to do a crossover with Pacific Rim franchise.

Are we gonna ignore the fact Destroyah might appear in the monster verse due to it’s coming into kaiju existence due to the oxygen destroyer
That took years for the crustaceans to even get to the point where they could combine and mutate. Since it was within the continuity of the original film. Destroyah being in the Monsterverse would probably be their "Endgame" movie. I would love to see Legendary use the Gryphon monster from the unmade 1994 American film.
I enjoyed the movie quite a bit and it got me to thinking about some things that others might not of thought of. Kong’s changing from wrongful focus to clear focus towards the end really shows his intellect. Some will probably complain that Godzilla got whipped too easily by Mecha Godzilla, but you have to think about the fight with Kong before hand. I won’t give away the details, but will say that it nearly cost him his life. Imagine a boxer, winner or loser, going from one fight directly to another within mere minutes.
With that said, this movie does make me wonder why Godzilla focus so much on going after Kong instead of concentrating solely on his own mission. With Kong it makes a bit more sense since he’s much younger, but it shows Godzilla, after thousands of years, doesn’t know how to let go of hatred. I‘d go so far as to say it clouded his judgment and priorities, in turn costing him nearly everything in the end. We saw what he can do when he’s focused in King of the Monsters, this one shows what happens when he doesn’t. Needless to say, useless, conflicted anger/fighting can drag you down no matter how tough you are. Maybe that’s why no other monsters arrived to help, that’s what happens when you burn too many bridges.
