There’s economic think tanks such as Common Wealth who showed that even from the months from April to June this year Shell payed out nearly 11 times more to shareholders Payouts at $6.2B than it invested in renewables at $600M and even funnily enough spent $3.1B on fossil fuel oil and gas infrastructure. So it’s essentially a transfer of money from people who are struggling to those big companies.
