I've been following your tutorial for the past month or so, slowly mapping each one of the DRASTIC parameters... and I just wanna give you a big thank you for being part of the reason I managed to finish my Bachelor thesis. I've come back to this video a bunch of times when I got stuck on something. Cheers from Greece :)
I think that's one of the easiest one, unless you are working on e very remote area. try your best you will find. maybe can look at national water resource management website.
Hey can you please provide me the datasets of impact of vadose zone, soil media, aquifer media and hydraulic conductivity?? From where did you get the lat long, well depth and other chemical concentration datasets???
I've uploaded a video on model validation as far as i can recall. If that doesn't satisfy you then check out some articles and try on your own. u can do it.
Thank you for the video, it was very helpful. I have a question: how did you define the new values for the rating column? Cause I am trying to make an irrigation water quality parameters map from groundwater chemistry results. I appreciate it in advance.
Hi, If I am not mistaken regarding what you asked, there are standard guidelines for rating, you need to inspect some articles for that. to be more specific you may mention video time, so that I could get correct reference.
Assalamu alaikum vaiya I am not being able to find out the groundwater data of Bangladesh from BGS website. Can you please help me out? Or provide information about some other websites where I can access the data for free. It will be great help for me.
do you mean, how to add data in arcmp, If I understood u correctly, I have shown required steps to connect excel files, like converting xlsx files to workbook or CSV format...such things.
Your explanation was always great. I follow you on all my accounts I have an important question here I think DEM must be converted from WGS84 (Degree) system to UTM (Meter) before you can create an slope map I didn't see you did that
Thank you for your concern. As far as I'm concerned my all other features were in the same coordinate system (WGS 1984), so i think i don't have to convert it.
It is not about the return system of all classes as you know that the slope depends on the value of Z This value may not be recognized by the program (Z=°??) I salute you for your valuable efforts
Maybe I didn't know how to ask my question well I mean that the slope map needs the value of the height (altitude) , which is recognized by the program from the factor Z, so the system must be metric
great sir. i have have a problem could you please help me out? i want to creating overlying materials. i have lithology data and i use kirging to interplate but after that how should i do next? ( according GOD methods)
As far as I'm concerned, GOD is simpler than DRASTIC. After kirging give each layer ratings by reclassification as i showed in the video, then use field calculator to multiply rated layers.
Thank you for nice elaboration step by step. Can u please help me how to extract the aquifer media data, vadose zone data and hydraulic conductivity data for Orissa State, India? Actually I am working in this area. Please, kindly mention the sources also for these data with your kind cooperation
