Aston Martin has been around since Pre-War Motorsport. They are completely in their own league in terms of manufacturing and development. When you mention Aston Martin it immediately strikes a chord with people. Will always turn heads.
The pop up infotainment on these is a lot better than the Merc because it can be hidden… you can upgrade these to be better than the merc ones but the key is that they can be hidden, no visible screen in a classic analog car is a brilliant feature. 🙌
By far my dream car! It’s the car I get giddy the most about when I’m out driving. Such classy yet brutal looking car. Looks like it would happy take you from Manchester to Munich in the most comfortable way whilst looking like it could get there incredibly quick
That Die another Day Vanquish had a 3 speed manual and a 300 bhp Ford v8. Brosnan got a real one at the end of the movie. He even did a bit of street racing in it. It burnt up in a 2018 Garage Fire and he got an I8. The 2003 Vanquish and BMW i8 have almost identical acceleration 0-210 despite their vastly different technical specifications.
I'm very similar to you. The Vanquish got me into Aston Martin. AND THAT SOUND. Its always been the best sound ever for me. The new AMG Aston engines sound different. It's sounds Mercedes. The Aston Martin has always been the best sounding engine. Simple things, appeal to us guys lol

Well that would be because a 6 speed is not available in this car lol. You can only have a 6 speed in the previous generation vanquish. Which is obviously much older and cheaper, but yes I do agree with you this is an incredible car
@@snakes_with_leo a six speed was indeed available between 2013-2015. After that it went to 8 speed. I know that because I just bought one and it's excellent value for money compared to the 8 speed.

I assume by 6 speed you mean manual, as that's what the car community generally refers to manual transmission sportscars because they are almost always 6 speed boxes. Thus generation vanquish was only offered in auto though. I'm intrigued to know how you've managed to buy a manual one?
Great review...i can agree the interior of an Aston..(mine being the DB9.2, also straight piped)...is a lovely place to be...there are faster cars for sure, but none a better fit for me....cheers

Yeah in my opinion, I prefer the sound of the F12tdf over the Vanquish and Vantage. Quite easily. Aston sounds good, but the Ferrari sound is amazing, in my opinion of course.

Lamborghini V12: original has "Build up" and screaming tone for example: Lamborghini Murcielago LP 640/LP 670 SV. Aston Martin V12: original has Loud and screaming tone. For example: Aston Martin Vanquish S.
Don’t get how one video says..One thing Aston has benefited from Mercedes’ infotainment system…next video slams dated Mercedes infotainment system in DBX etc..Like all these other guys..…TO much time spent on video games means they take infotainment system more seriously than the car…CLUE is this is a CAR..
Sorry Paul. Ever since Aston Martin was taken over by ford and they stole the front end design it’s (for me) cheapened the look of the car. Putti the a.m designer was hoodwinked by ford. Just always remind me of focus now.

People sleep on the Vanquish, they don’t know how good of a car it is. From the v12 to the interior and wrapped in a carbon body, it’s just A1.

Nah, 812 on novitec used to have the crown but the svj on gintani has taken it and is now king of v12s.
