Can someone explain to me the benefit of while he was training, his coaches would build his weight and then decrease the weight again, etc? Thank you. Just trying to learn.
It has to do with timing of the other lifters. they have a general framework based on listed attempts of other lifters, but there are misses, changes, etc..

@@wesyale2887 The 120 is such a low weight compared to his max that it won’t affect his ability for maximal effort. It simply keeps the muscles and nervous system ready.
