You married into Indian culture 8 years ago. You started your channel 8 years ago. This comment was posted 8 days ago. Happy 8th wedding anniversary, whenever ya’ll’s anniversary was. 😂 (i couldn’t help myself!)
The everlasting goodbye is literally every indian parent i know literally takes 5 hours to get out of the drive and as soon as the car starts an auntie runs up and is like come and take some samosas before you go
During this position young children slip back into the house, until they are caught. Once the coast is clear they repeat this process. (This may happen multiples times)
I love that even when Lilly puts some things in from an Indian perspective, a lot of the time everyone or at least a lot of other people from other cultures/types of families can relate. The Everlasting Goodbye was SO relatable, maybe it’s more of a midwest thing than something that also happens everywhere in America, but at least with my family and friends we always say goodbye at least 3-4 times getting closer the car and usually still wave goodbye for one extra time 😅
The vocabulary and phrasing was amazing! I was laughing so hard I had to stop the video after the browser history comment. It came out of nowhere. So dang smooth! Good job writers and Lilly. Words can go flat Without the proper delivery! I liked this a lot. Definitely needed a good laugh! Thank you.
Hooray, hooray. Manjeet and Paramjeet are back in the house. Let the craziness begin. Just watch this one. You should have called it the Drama Sutra.😂 I watch it three times. "Every religion have position, you should see what the missionaries do"..😂🤣🤣 oh my goodness 😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣 laughing from sunny Jamaica one Love.😂🤣🤣😂🤣🤣
Some things are truly universal. My large extended family--in rural Kentucky--were famous for the Everlasting Goodbye. The leisurely, chatty stages were: The house. The porch. The yard. The driveway. Standing next to the car. From within the car through the open windows. From within the now-running but only slowly moving car. Waving through the windows as the car picked up speed. Then, just before going out of earshot of my grandmother's house, honking goodbye. It took an hour minimum. 🙂 No cellphones back then, but if we had had them, I'm sure we would have texted goodbye while fully on the road, then some of us cousins would have FaceTimed each other halfway through the journey home.
The only thing missing from this is the money. When an aunty tries to give another aunty money, it's all about to go down!! That's an extra day right there 😂
DEEP BREATHES *INHALE* Thou shalt not go to another Desi"s house without spending hours "TRYING" to leave🌚 "IT IS NONE OF MY BUSINESS" said no Indian aunties/uncles ever...💅
Taylor did an amazing job with the illustrations 😁 I love this video and I would be traumatized if I ever had to have THE TALK.... I'm 26 and I absolutely can not 🤣
True that. I dont think that my mom, who didnt even tell me about periods, would ever sit down and have 'the talk' with me lol. Pretty sure she thinks I am gonna live celibate

@Eszra Falcontail hey! I agree , I love other comedians too. but being brown myself , the person whose comedy I can relate to the most is Lilly .

Being a desi,it’s so relatable Lily..Even after so many years you don’t fail to suprise us with a brand new idea!!❤️♥️
Honestly when Lily does impressions of her parents accents it has helped me understand those accents easier. Some are really hard to understand though

Nice one, Taylor. Congrats on… being tall. I mean, the illustrations.
I love Scarbro in the back being the unbothered king he is 😌💖😍
For some reason this is so accurate and it's not a coincidence that every single brown gathering has a special "position"
one of my greatest joys in life is watching Lilly portray the parents
3:14 Manjeet: I don't participate
Also Manjeet: talking to his daughter
