Sigma make some great sounding electro-acoustic guitars at sensible prices, plus they are set-up to play out of the box, which is not the case for a lot of other brands.

BTW...my ex-wife bought me a Sigma DM 18 on my 33rd birthday as a way to help me recover from surgery. Was a great guitar. Ended up selling it to an awesome friend I met in Bible school, from Zimbabwe.

The Sigma name no longer used in USA.
But the parent company AMI is now what they go by. German company...guitars made in China. I own an AMI Cutaway... ebony back and sides, spruce top and it looks and sounds great. The price on their lineup are in the $500 to $1200 range but WOW!.... What a deal! Check them out.

Do you know why it is so reasonably priced when it is built out of high end materials??? Is it laminated back and sides? The price is unbelievable.
