- This column is from a 1978 Nova ,very common column used in the 1970's. I completely tear it down, find some broken parts and some loose bolts. A future episode will detail full assembly of the restored parts.
I’m absolutely sure that no one l have met or been taught by in 77 years could have done a better job of explaining and/or videoing this task.Thank you very much!
@@jimtiberti-zb7kt I am truly humbled. Thank you so much!!

Excellent video
Thanks!!
Really appreciate you sharing the makeshift pivot pin puller idea! It worked on one side. The other is so seized that I ordered the puller. Hope it works! Thanks for posting this. It's a great instructional video and super helpful for my CJ7 restoration.
Great to hear! So glad I could help, thanks for watching!!
It blows my mind how many parts are inside the column.
I look forward to the sticky steering wheel solution. The one in my 90 Caprice 9c1 is gross.
The non-tilt is so much simpler!
Can you tell me the size of the torx screw that's on there? 16:35 ....Thank you so much for this video...I've been in and out the house running this back and forth doing my 78 Scottsdale Column.
