Just found your podcast Pam, you are delightful to watch. Always enjoy listening to other knitters challenges 😂. We all have them. Like you, i struggle with lace patterns. I find it difficult to pick up stitches in pattern after loosing them off the needles ( cuz its going to happen). Summer is not my favourite season because you wait so long for it and then you are fighting with all the insects...black flies, June bugs, mosquitos, horse flies, spiders...c'mon Fall and of course Sweatta weatha! Thanks for the podcast! 🇨🇦🥰Sharon.
@@lsdev4229 Hi Sharon! So happy you are here. Lace is just not my jam. Tinking back when you make a mistake is next to impossible and you are right if I drop any stitches I can’t get the darn things back on the needles properly. Also summer isn’t my favourite for all the reasons you mention. Summer is just a countdown to autumn! 🤣❤️

Hi, I love the Grocery Girls but have not been able to do any of their tours. I just wanted to mention about the patch. I have a real problem on ships but I have gone on a number of cruises. Just so you know in Canada we can get the patches without a Drs note. It is called Transderm-V. 1. Decide how many you need, take a extra box incase in comes off in the shower. 2. Start taking it 24 hours before you start your trip then it will be in your system. Transderm-V is available at Walmart. I don’t know the price any more. I am sure it is under $20.00. Depending when you need it start buying it early incase they run out. Hope this information is of use to you. I will also start listening to your podcast. Glad you had a wonderful time . I went with my knitting girlfriend to Alaska about 7 years ago. My husband does not like cold cruises. Heather from Ontario, Canada.

what a awesome trip, i have a question regarding traveling with knitting needles, i live in ontario and i haven't tried to fly with knitting needles, can you take them on the plane in canada and from canada to the states?
@@organopeptide that’s a great question. If you want to knit on the plane I recommend bringing interchangeable wooden needles. I have flown to the states, within Canada and to Austria with wooden needles and have not encountered a problem. However I brought the ends I could twist on to the cord in case they confiscated my needles so my projects wouldn’t fall off the cords just in case. I think that unfortunately there is no way to know ahead of time which security officers might confiscate the needles. I have heard Belgium security is very strict and will confiscate both wooden and metal needles but I can’t confirm that myself.
