your makeup looks so beautiful, Chelsea! hourglass is a company I really love to support. they're cruelty free and are not owned by a company that is not cruelty free (like Becca, too faced, it cosmetics and so many more) plus they have amazing products. I really want to try their stick foundation and brush, but I need to save up for that splurge :)
I really enjoy Hourglass! The things I have tried from them have all been beautifully constructed and perform so well.

Jacks Lorraine its so frustrating lately with so many companies selling out! but I recently started watching logical harmony and rhian hy for some cruelty free and vegan brands that I had never heard of, so the wish list continues to grow, haha!!
megan walter I watch both of them too! I use Logical Harmony as my main source for determining cf status. The lack of information available out there is so frustrating and that is the main inspiration for why I started my channel, too. : )
I love that you did this video! I have an hourglass wishlist and want to get an ambient lightening powder soon! For my fair redhead self, would you recommend ethereal light for an all over powder? I use the Guerlain meteorites right now and wonder how they compare???
Ethereal light or the other daylight one. Guerlain meteorites are more 'sparkly' and the Hourglass creates more of a blurred perfection look to the skin. Very understated but beautiful. The Hourglass is more finishing wheras the Guerlain is more 'angelic'

I use the It Cosmetics blush brush with the round ball in the center ( from QVC )
I received the email from hourglass last year before the holidays, but I passed because I saw some reviewers whose palette had a lot of the strobing powder mixed in and hardly had any color. I didn't want to risk it since I can't use to much highlight because I have melasma on the tops of my cheekbones and call me crazy, but I'd rather not highlight it. 😉 It's a beautiful palette and you're lucky you got one with a good amount of blush color mixed in. I wish I could use this stuff 😢

I found you/your channel via Marnie.😆 When the HG Ambient Powders first appeared I was very excited - but not so much after they pulled what I consider to be a pretty disingenuous move in first naking the 3pan LE ... I refused to be manipulated like that, having a sense that they were simply testing the market. It made me rather angry to be honest because those who are greedy nasty profiteers took advantage buying more than half a dozen each, then putting them on Ebay for triple the price. I'm even gladder because sure as sugar ... HG brought them out permanently. I just don't believe HG anymore. Love my Mood Exposure blush and I do have the 3 pan AL and the 6 pan AL & blush palettes. The strobe palette doesn't interest me nor does this one. Just HG being so disingenuous put me off the brand. I'd say for the most part I won't buy LE products on principle. Tho I will purchase a Guerlain or Chanel LE item but it has to be very unique for me to actually dip into my wallet! Anyway ... thank you for your thorough explaination of all of HG powders re the AL/Strobe products! 👍✌
