Great review. I love the hourglass formula. Since I have so many of the repeat colors, I just can’t justify the price for 3 new colors. But I do think they are beautiful. I love the ambient colors but don’t need anymore strobing colors. You did a great review and I enjoyed spending time with you!

That's fantastic! Which palette do you have? It's really hard to hit pan on anything. I only ever use up primer, eye and brow pencils.

I really do like it. I think if this was a 2019 palette, I would've been so wowed cause it would've been my first 6-pan Hourglass item. Since this is my second palette, some of the excitement is dampened. It's a good one nonetheless!
I'm a bit sad that this release is mostly repeats. They sure are beautiful though. Know what ? I never use the super dooper highlight-ee one. I have to start using them. I never go out but...you did a great video and I so wish I could get these but already own most. 👍🏻
After a few years of buying these palettes, I feel you will have pretty good variety of shades, etc. I think they are due for a revamp of this annual release.
Are you guys going out for dinner now and then? Not sure what the situation where you are. I know in Alberta, it's 50% capacity for restaurants at this time.
Ahh I am so torn 😱 the 6 pan sculpture palette looks beautiful on you!! I am debating whether the new 6 pan or the 4 pan unlock mini will be more suitable for yellow undertone Asian skin tone ...
Annie Chang I think they will both work on you Annie! I do like the 4 pan unlock. I feel if this is your first Hourglass palette, that one would be a great choice.

I find these Hourglass palettes to really worth the money because you get to try a bunch of their products and you pay much less. I have the Ambient Edit vol 4 and I do love it but I would've prefered to get more pigment for blushes and highlighters. But they still show up amazing. I love this palette and I like is coming with new shades. But I will probably skip it just because it looks similar with mine. Thank you for the review, Michi! ❤
You are right, Julia! People are fatigued with the finishing powders, repeats from previous years and always so light in shade range. They could probably release a mix palette of new and old blushes and highlighters and just skip the finishing powders. Thanks for watching!

Packaging is a solid A. They need a tan version of this palette. That would generate a lot of excitement I think.

Hey Michi, I watched this video yesterday and commented but I don't see my comment. That is very strange. The palette is very pretty and I have one Hourglass blush and I love it. The metallic strobe lighting palette is very pretty and I definitely see the difference with the metallic. LOL at wearing it when wanting to be noticed :) LOL. FW and have a great day.

I rly want to get it... but at the same time I’m hesitating. >…< I have the dim light but rarely use it bc I can’t see it and I can’t tell if it even does anything for my skin... T.T but it looks so pretty!!!
I find the finishing powders do soften the complexion and gives it a blurring effect. I do prefer Chantecaille’s blurring powder over Hourglass’ though.
I like the blushes and highlighter from this palette. Since you have dim light, you might want to look into the edit mini sculpture that was released at the same time. All of those shades are really nice.
