I have had that spray scene in my mind for years and I could never remember the Show it came from. Finally for some reason the name "Kirk" hit me and I searched "Kirk tv show hair spray." I was not disappointed. One of the most underrated tv characters of all time!
Yes it is,two clues:the network's in stereo where available logo at the outset of this episode.and the network announcer at the end credits announcing the upcoming Saturday night schedule.
I wish this show was still on the air, it was really funny. Kirk is hilarious!
The spray can to the face is one of the all time funniest things I have ever seen.

Me too. Now I want to find the scene on SNL where one of them is made up to look like Brian Gumbel.
Sorry, Greg Gumbel. He looked like a Cabbage Patch kid. He didn't have to say a word and the audience laughed for minutes. It stopped the show.
Awesome great dancing Ralph!!!!!!!! Yes Kirk spray was funny!!!!
He made a guest appearance on Cupid in where he danced. I’m not surprised he could do it.
Every time Kirk whipped out that spray I almost choked I was laughing so hard.
Kirk almost laughed that first time he sprayed his face
