Celebrating Independence Day in the Seychelles Islands |

Today is the day that the Seychelles celebrates its National Day, in commemoration of our islands' independence from the British Empire in 1976. Traditionally, the highlight of the day is a military parade at the Unity Stadium at Roche Caiman, but this year it is being held in the centre of the Seychelles' capital, Victoria.
