No, that's not possible because of a lock. There were some accidents with that at the Leopard 1 so that they added this lock at Leopard 2. The lock is activated at the moment the driver opens the hatch.

If you call Leopard 2 A4 outdated than M60 T is archaic. All elements in this tank are interior than in Leopard 2. Protection, mobility and fire power. Not to mention ultra high profile. Its fucking tall target.
