From hospital under fire (2006) ---- to underground emergency hospital (2013)

Southern Israel, November 2012: Operation Pillar of Cloud. Northern Israel, 2013: Rambam Health Care Campus (Haifa) finishes building the Sammy Ofer Fortified Underground Emergency Hospital ---- 2,000 medical beds needed now! The underground hospital results from lessons learned in the Second Lebanon War (2006), when doctors and nurses cared for sick patients and war-wounded while under rocket and missile attack.
