Idk about that ive never been to a metallica concert yet im going to see them friday in montreal but i have seen slayer live and trust me they were loud enough to make my ears ring for 3 days after the show but soooo worth it lol
Saw them in 2017 and you just perfectly described how it felt. SUPERRR LOUD. Even wayyy up on the cheapest seats you can hear EVERYTHING like you're standing 2 ft in front of em. Soak it in all in, watch them play. With your own eyes not your phone. Sing along til you've got no voice. Cause watching Metallica play live in person is a true once in a lifetime experience
@@cliffsenac2825 i agree ive never used my phone at any concert except when godsmack did voodoo i had to record all the people using the lights on there phones to make it look like stars but people who just record instead of watching is just dumb your suppose to go there to experience it live and watch it live not on a screen you can do that watching live concerts the bands put out
@@poisonous-shadows i do both on songs i really like. But im not that idiot holding the phone above my head recording. I just hold it against my chest and dont even look at the screen for the most part. Dont want it interrupting anyone else.
@@OxaudioPhilly ya thats ok to do but there are lots of people that stand there watching the show on there phones when the show is right in front of there faces what a waste of money and experience
I've seen Metallica over 20 times in the last 38 years. Definitely not a Metallihead, but I try to catch them whenever they come around. IMy wife and I had a blast! Don't listen to anyone's opinion (including mine). If you had a great time, then a great time it was!
@irondoggieyt when was this?maybe he was out here to catch a quick surf sesh'??? Lol! Kirk lives out here as well, his wife is from Hawaii. Yeah, a few weeks from now, So Fi Stadium!!! For sure, looking forward to it! Aloha!!!
Their gig in LA last year was the best one of the whole tour imo I wasn’t there but the damn videos are kick ass especially night 2 especially fight fire
@@MizzAnthrope lmao. Still love em! Theres was a couple oops moments. The intro to fade to black sounded really off to me too. I havent gone back and listened to it but i swore a whole guitar part was missing
@@OxaudioPhilly Yup, Kirk admits he fucked up and starts over, lol. But the overall set up was kick ass. We made a day of it. Got there at 11 and had a BBQ tailgate. It was a blast.
I was there. Amazing difference in sound for Part-tera and Metallica. Pantera was all kick drum and vocals. You couldn't hear the guitar until the solos. It was barely there even then. Metallica had MUCH better sound. Their crew are amazing.
Why are there so few people? The bottom of the stadium is less full than at any concert in Europe. And this is despite the fact that metallica is together with the panterа. Maybe it seems so because of the location of the stage? If we take all the people on the right (who would have been behind the stage, with its usual location) and move them to the left, then perhaps 80,000 thousand people or 85,000 actually attended the concert???
I noticed that too, at the beginning of the night. Once Metallica hit the stage, it appeared the empty seats were filled. As for the field, NJ Sports & Expo Authority, who runs the Meadowlands, has strict fire codes which limits how many people are allowed on the floor. They just seem to herd tightly together- what a loving ❤ crowd!
DUDE IT WILL BE THE LOUDEST FN CONCERT YOU WILL EVER ATTEND. ESPECIALLY IF YOUR ON THE FLOOR. (800 TIX FOR THE PIT, 7,500 TIX FOR GA ON FLOOR) ANYWAY, THE BASS WILL BLOW YOUR MIND 126 SUBS
iPhone 13. I was in section 213, right above you. The PA was broadcasting in clear stereo in my direction. It looked as though the PA was pointing downwards towards the field and lower levels.
I think Pantera sounded fine where I was sitting (50 yard line, 200 level), but I just happened to luck out with the sweet spot between PA towers. The headliner is always going to sound better, but I don't think 'Tallica tanked their sound. It's their first show together in the states. I'm sure future shows will show improved sound :)

i was there also !!! best two days of my life man...
I was there! What a concert... I just came back home. Can't take it out of my mind...
This was my very first Metallica concert, when Ecstasy of Gold came on I literally started crying tears of joy. They absolutely KILLED it!
I was there Friday Night it's Monday and my ears are still ringing
Mine too
Wear earplugs next time. Tinnitus sucks.
One of the best two nights I’ve had in a long time, was happy to finally see them live
I was there at that concert!!! Pantera and Metallica were both amazing!!!
And Mammoth 🤘
no drummer for pantera?
I was there. My first concert ever, and it’s one I will never forget
They were my first concert too. Back in 1986 opening for Ozzy. Master of Puppets tour with Cliff Burton. I’ll never forget it.
Embrace this show...if this was your first concert, this will set the bar. Will be very difficult to beat, moving forward! :) \m/

Damn they killed this song, this is always such a great opening song for them. And James sounds fuckin greeeat
I went to the Sunday show and had a blast! Was hoping to hear Creeping Death, but they sure did stick to the no repeats
We were there and it was incredible!
Those are great seats. See everything with great sound.
So glad I was there

See you Sunday again fellas Amazing the best heavy metal 🎸 band in the history no question!!!
Heading up to Montreal from Toronto for night 2 next Sunday the 13th. Can’t wait!
I was there, i swore Kirk was flat on the very first note. I think this proves that right lol!
Kirk's burnt out. He played in the wrong key both nights of the Jeff Beck tribute.
I was there last night, and that was my immediate thought as soon as I heard it, lol.

Awesome.
I was there both nights. Crowd was way more wild on night two!
At around 1:55 , I could easily hear myself in the background🤣
Need a Modello after hearing that intro.
I wonder how many times they do that little interlude like they did in Moscow in '91. It felt like I was watching a modern version of it.
*ONE SONG KIRK STARTS, STOPS, THEN SAYS SORRY ITS THE FIRST NIGHT. NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME, NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU AND STARTED THE SONG OVER!*
Is the movie in the opening song "the good, the bad and the ugly"?
Dude, I think I was right behind you! I was section 215 !!
Close...Section 213!
Second Metallica concert in Jersey (first was at Bader Field in AC for Orion Festival 2012). Amazing shows, they age like fine wine.

That’s most opening vs main act complaints
Headliner always gets the best sound lol

I was one level below you and more to the right
What section was this?
I think this song is from the bible or something…..
Yes, Creeping Death is Biblical...tells the story of Moses and Passover
Pantera sound crew needs to be fired! Could hardly make out the songs!!!!!!!!!
They don't usually have experience with this setup... Mostly front loaded stages

Thank god they took out that lame intro
That incorrect note on 2:03-4 is just hilarious! 😆 Love Metallica forever and ever! 🤘🤘
That vocal is poor, biggest concert but audio system so bad
