Ben, I agree with you. Coaching involves clearly communicating to players how you intend to get them involved in your system. When Mourinho was in charge, he communicates his ideas along with some promises and boom, we sign that player. TT was a good coach but was not communicating enough with players on his plans and the new owners demanded it and that got him a little uncomfortable. The new owners started communicating directly with players and were able to get some to sign new deals like Borja, James and CHO. Potter might just be the perfect fit for what the owners want hence a new culture where players would be developed and moved to the senior team. There will be a clear transition now at Chelsea. This explains why young and raw talents such as Chukwurmeka, Caiceda the Italian, and Omarion had agreed to move to Chelsea, some discussed with their agent on the new culture and they bought into it.

You appear clearly unaware that Chelsea FC have one of the top youth recruitment systems in the world, going back many years.
The club manager accesses that proven system, but has little or no Impute into the scouting or training system involved, why would he. The current young players join the club aged 8/10 years of age and you,d be surprised how few players make it to the senior ranks. If the new owners at Chelsea fail to but out of both the team selection and systems of play, only failure will follow.
Chelsea and MC have been the most successful premiership teams f the last decade, because there’s been no interference from owners, it’s left to the manager and coaches.

Most ‘perennial champion’ professional sport franchises get built around elite trainer organizations which get assembled by one of those rare superstar coaches. They tend to last for many years and their teams become dominating machines with top performance season after season. I’m pretty sure that Todd Boehly thinks that way, and that he identified Graham Potter as an up-and-coming superstar coach around which to build a Chelsea dynasty. I don’t think that this change was primarily about Tuchel being unsatisfactory, but more about Boehly simply believing that Potter was his diamond-in-the-rough and that he needed to get him - sooner rather than later. Strike while the iron is hot….

It was because of the UK government that Tuchel had to field those questions. It wasn't because of Todd Boehly. Boehly has to do what's best for the club. He can't make poor decisions because circumstances made life more difficult for Tuchel and Tuchel handled those circumstances admirably. The problems Boehly had with Tuchel almost certainly did not arise because Tuchel had to be the spokesman for the club for a couple months or because there was great uncertainty surrounding the club and Tuchel's job for a couple of months.

Finally, a pundit pointed out that Tuchel wanted more control over the transfers. Everyone has been saying that it was a responsibility foisted on him that he didn't want. But from my recollection he wanted it. In fact, if I recall correctly he wanted it in Dortmund, too, and that's part of the reason for his departure there. They wouldn't give it to him. At Chelsea it was given to him, but then he complained about the extra responsibility and work that went along with it. He wanted to make demands that were listened to instead of having to interact with others to make decisions or work towards carrying out any decisions.

So playing them across the front or as a deeper 9 they should be able to. Watch the home game against Juventus or the away game against Real. Pulisic thrived in those positions under Lampard. But sadly he Ziyech, CH-O and Werner are too inconsistent hence TT rotation. Also Chilwell and James are also the best wide players we have. Those players downed tools towards the end of the season especially Ziyech in the Brentford game.

The players are quality signings but it do take time to get new players to "bed in" with their new surroundings. Judging by Tuchel's results for Chelsea this Season only, I personally think the decision was a bit hasty. It has taken time for great Managers both past and present to mould teams into winning teams. As much as it's true that a good number of Chelsea fans support the decision to sack Tuchel, there are very many who are not too pleased with the decision.
Please note that this is just my humble opinion though, so I personally think it's a bit harsh for you to question my knowledge of the game. If you disagree with my opinion, it's very ok, but going a step further to talk about my knowledge of the game because of a personal opinion sounds a bit harsh. Tuchel has been going through stuff in his personal life (no knock on him for that) and that may have translated to the recent form of the team. He was accused of playing "Negative Football" even though he won the Cup against all odds. He must have seen the players he had at his disposal and decided to set up the team according to the strengths of the players. I do think he might have been aware that he didn't have the most talented bunch of players compared to other countries at the tournament BUT he got the Jo done! He won! I can remember vividly Ronaldo crying when Portugal lost the Final to Greece by a lone goal. That's what Greece did in that tournament...get a goal and defend with their lives to preserve the lead so as to win.
I totally agree with the legendary Pele of Brazil that describes Football as "the beautiful game"! Some fans want attractive Football and results while others don't really care how a victory is achieved whether through ugly or beautiful Football...as long as the team wins.

What I find very difficult to understand is the fact that after the 2 all draw against spurs it was reported by Fabrizio ramono that Chelsea already started talking to Thomas Tuchel's Representatives to extend his contract ..which is why I till date think they sacked tuchel abruptly due to something that we may never know of . I'm not buying into all these other explanations ..the manner at which the situation was handled made it look like Chelsea is being run by complete clowns no disrespect to Todd boehly but they should have relieved Tuchel off his duty post right after the take over or during the upcoming world cup international break ..they gave us the fans a false impression with the way they backed him during transfer window ,I personally thought they like the idea of working with tuchel ..what sense is there to clear out the players tuchel deemed surplus to requirements, brought in 6 players based on TUCHELs recommendations and 6 days later decided to sack tuchel..my conclusion is that something else happened between tuchel and the board that led to his dismissal. Tuchel is someone with big ego and ppl like that re easily triggered ..I rest my case .

Writing all of that to just basically say: “It was Tuchel’s fault”. A bit of an oversimplification wouldn’t you say?! Don’t get me wrong I agree with all the other points that you made but as you said yourself the explanations does not really make sense. I genuinely believe that there is more behind this and that the owners simply wanted to make their own appointments. Firstly, just to give them feeling that they put these people there and secondly to appoint someone they can control. From whats been going around it seems that this has been in the works for quiet a while, as Fabrizio basically reported that Boehly and co were secretly negotiating with Brighton and potter long before Tuchel’s sacking ( which is proven by how quickly they were able to negotiate with Brighton and get Potter through the door after sacking Tuchel) - So this does not fit the narrative that Tuchel did something wrong toward the owners but just seems like the owners simply wanted put their own people in charge (who they could tell what to do, e.g. buying Ronaldo), and the recents run of result gave them the excuses to do so.
One thing which has become abundantly clear to me though is that Boehly and Co i have be running a smeer campaign against Tuchel and have tried to tarnish his reputation to justify his sacking, which is shameful when looking back at what he has done for us and loyalty he has shown us. And disappointedly some fans have been buying into this. Tuchel stuck with us in difficult time (even when he himself was dealing with issue in his own private life) and essentially pledged his allegiance to Chelsea and said that he see’s himself at Chelsea in the long-term. Unfortunately, when he was in a similar position and needed us to stick with him and give him time to find a solution, we (some of the fans and the owners) stabbed him in the back!!
Mind you, not too long ago, Tuchel defended Boehly quite fervently - when he was being criticised by the Garry Neville during the transfer window this is what Tuchel had to say regarding Neville’s comments:
“Panicking? No, I would describe it as super hard-working and learning while on the job.
“The transfer market is one of the toughest things you can do when you come from outside, but I have nothing but the biggest respect and compliments for both Todd and Behdad [Eghbali, co-owner].
“I don’t know when they sleep, I think maybe they never sleep. But we have a very honest, very open, very direct line of communication and the transfers so far speak for itself.
“We have a delay, of course nobody is guilty for that delay. We have a delay because of the sanctions [against the club when Roman Abramovich was owner], and the sanctions led to the loss of key players.
“But both of the owners who are involved in the daily business have done a fantastic job so far.”
So does all of this strike you as someone who was so at odds with owners? Couldn’t these supposed differences which existed be reconciled? I will not say that Tuchel was perfect and couldn’t have done anything better but in my opinion, the blame here rests predominatly on the owners as already explained. Then, secondly on the unhappy players which we were not able to ship-out, who were was ruining the dressing room atmosphere as they were not playing (simply because the were not good enough, i.e. your Pullisic’s, Ziyech’s, Lukaku’s). And lastly, on Tuchel for maybe not trying to do more to adapt and co-exist with the owners. But understandably, the man just wanted to be a coach!

I think you may have misunderstood the part where I said tuchel has a big ego and presumed I said he was at fault which wasn't the case I said that to say he's a strong character and not the type to be pushed around by the new owners which may have rubbed off wrong on todd boehly and his team but I'm also of the opinion that tuchel shouldn't be completely exempted from the blames of how things went left towards the end of his tenure, I think he sacrificed the role of timo Werner to accommodate lukaku a player who couldn't find his form and wasn't helping the team in any way shape or form ..he rarely runs his off the ball tactical awareness was next to zero ,yet tuchel kept on playing him over Werner a player we can all agree brings danger to the opposing teams with his runs and was more helpful off the ball . Another mistake tuchel made was playing some players out of their usual position which led to some of them wanting to leave ,I'm not gonna sit here and say he lost control over the dressing room but clearly certain players were no longer happy playing for him ..but all of those things still doesn't justify the sudden dismissal cos tuchel as a coach was a success story in Chelsea's history the man has done enough to earn the grace to continue as our coach I expected the new owners to give him the supports needed to turn things around .The biggest losers in this situation are the new owners who regardless of how much money they may have to spend on a damage control campaign ppl like my self and many others would forever see them for the clowns that they are .
