*3rd Place* - Nanlite Pavotube II 6C
Winners will be announced on June 6th.
Using these Nanlights for creative color would be fun for sure, making quick set up vs having to send up your flash each time but having a constant light source would be useful when you don’t need a lot of power (vs using off camera flash) while you are seeing what you get saving time as well. But would love to introduce more creative options in my portrait work and possibly in my wedding photography too. Having creative tools such as these lights helps us get the shots we and our clients want.
I love the use of long exposure and mixing colours to create a beautiful Blend of soft and harsh light! Dreaming of being to afford one of these lights! Best of luck to everyone!
@@jordanvukomanovic4872 good luck to you as well, yes winning one of these would just be awesome 😎
I'll try new tricks that never anyone does
First, I’ll give a tip. To make a perfect circle on the spin, use a paint roller with a handle. Clamp the roller part in a super clamp, then attach the nanlite to the handle and rotate around. I’ve used this with other light sources, but these pavo tubes would be a great upgrade.
I’d totally use these on senior photography sessions. I have an old military base that’s very dark inside and this would be a blast to use this on those sessions.
Thanks for the tip Chris! :)
All of those color combinations are popping!!
Thank you! ❤️
Awesome video as always, and I'm always learning something new sir!
Glad to hear it!
Always learning from you!
I appreciate that!
I just love this technique. I would use the nanlite to create stunning images of my senior clients and anyone who would like similar images. This is so much fun to play with, in-studio and on location. Can't wait to see more!
Thank you Julia! ❤️
Dale gas, Eli! Thanks for your videos y Todo El Pedo!
Gracias Nato!
@@EliInfante De nada. Ya gané? 🤣
@@natoruiz857 Haha we will see on Monday!
Being a strobe photographer for years, having a high quality continuous light, such as a Pavo Tube, would be great for simple one light portraits, especially clamshell with a reflector. Also, opens up some new ideas like you demonstrated in this video. Thanks for the content, Eli.
Thanks for sharing!
Awesome video. Not only get super creative with these with my senior photo shoots but Definitely use these lights for my husband and daughters Star Wars Photo Shoots that are coming up.
Great idea Joana!!
Dope work good brother.
Appreciate that!
I love to experiment with different lighting. I feel like the creativity would be endless with nanlite!
Totally!
Retro/future punk/rgb is my style of shoots, these tube light would be an awesome upgrade to my photography game! Thanks Eli for all your tips and tutorial and for the giveaway opportunity.
Absolutely! Thank you for supporting my channel. 😁
Pha, congrats, you got 2nd place! Please give me your email so I can get all the details to you.
Awesome
Thank you! ❤️
Done!
Would use it for shoots with complimentary colors, underglow for car shoots or a glow inside the car. Definetly gonna use it for video aswell, club like environments, use it as “motivated” lights, making a scene more interesting, or filling in shadows with a cold tone.. and of course just beeing creative with it.
Enjoying your content Eli, nice work!
Have a nice day.
Thanks for entering the giveaway ❤️
I love your content
Thank you! ❤️
I love the use of long exposure and mixing colours to create a beautiful Blend of soft and harsh light! Dreaming of being able to afford one of these lights! Best of luck to everyone!
Best of luck Jordan! 📸🙌🏼
Thank you ❤️
Long exposure portraits for sure after this breakdown!
I need to experiment more with long exposure for sure!
I've been shooting for 10years and I'm still learning new techniques especially when it comes to lighting. Pretty sure if I win I would really invest my time in using my new lights in creating magic.
Thanks for participating, Miles! 😁
These Nanlites would be AMAZING teamed up with my Rotolights. I can't imagine the dynamic images it'll help me create!
Totally! I haven't had a chance to use the Rotolights. What is one feature you love about those lights?
@@EliInfante I absolutely adore how versatile and portable they are. I love that they are bi-color and very easy to set the white balance to. I also love using LEDs with my mirrorless camera because you can see what you'll get before ever taking the shot and perfecting the lighting before ever picking up your camera.
Really appreciate the content, been following you for a while now on Instagram and love seeing the creativity you demonstrate in your portraits! I would love to experiment with the Pavotubes in my portrait work in terms of adding coloured light in more creative ways. Considering mynset up for that is limited right now, this would open up so many doors for me to try things I've always wanted to, and it would drive me to shoot more as well, I have been in a bit of a creative rut as of late!
I feel you! I’ve been feeling the same. Thank you for entering ❤️
Eli, thank you for your amazing content!!
After seeing your video, I'd definitely try to do a long exposure portrait. Also to make a nice shooting outdoors at night to make a nice light effect with it or maybe try a "retro" shooting inside an Arcade 😍😍😍 I'd love that. Well, hope luck is on my side this time 🤞🏽😜. Thanks Eli!!!
That was my next plan! Arcade shoot 😁
Been a fan for a long time on IG and finding your channel is an amazing learning experience📸 representing the 956! I’d love to experiment with the nanlite for a music video I’m doing next month and do some street photography portraits :) blessings brother 🖤
Puro 956! Thanks for taking the time to comment bro.😁
This is such a great idea. I subscribed to Nanlite's pages and will definitely try your long exposure technique if I win the tubes!
Thanks Sam! Have a great day 😁
Love the result! I’ve done some long exposure stuff using just the modeling lamp on one strobe and another in a soft beauty dish to freeze the model, nothing so vivid! I would love a nano tube to use for music video shoots as an accent light (and because RGB lights are pricey) and to add some color and dynamics into my portraits as well! Great as a hair light or even practical!
Thanks for entering Dave!
Hey Eli!! The shots are amazing!! I would love to try by the lake here in Laredo or drive to the beach but something to do with water for sure.
The famous Laredo lake! :)
@@EliInfante lol the only thing we have here
I have actually used the NanLite PavoTube II 6C a little bit ago, with a friend, as an alternative to big studio lights. It was amazing, the movement you can get with them is very good, the shadows are soft and nice, and they are magnetic! I wanted to purchase one for myself, as I fell in love with how easy it was to use, but did not have the money for it, being a hobbyist portrait photographer. I would absolutely love to have the big ones, I think they are very versatile, they can be used in various scenarios and, as a bonus, they look very cool as a background for long exposures (and the battery on them is amazing, and the color accuracy is basically spot on). I wish everyone entering the giveaway good luck and happy shooting! ^^ 📸
They are great to use in the studio! I use them with my students all the time. Thanks for entering the giveaway :)
I would definitely love to challenge myself with shooting night time/low light photography with these! There's so much you can do with these without the use of a strobe, so to combo it up with a strobe would give you killer results such as the images you have here in this video! I would practice recreating some imagery to help blossom my creative mindset for low light, eventually finding my own lane and having yet ANOTHER tool in my tool bag of skillset!
Same man! That’s my goal as well 🙌🏻
Time Capsule Foto since the 3rd place winner never responded you're the winner!
Nice trick! ❤️ I would use it to light the background, or a soft light in a run&gun situation where I need to match some concrete color 😜
Done! I would use the Nanlite Pavotubes to shoot some long exposure, light painting, portraits under the milky way, and also with startrails , that would be very nice! 😊
Aaahhh yes! I’ve seen awesome stuff online like that.
I'd love to use these as potential background lights, or even hair lights in some of my work. They also look like they'd work great in power outage.
They work great in the studio!
Thanks for sharing, and I entered, who knows maybe I’ll win of of those too. Either way good tips and I enjoy your channel
I appreciate it Jerry! 😁
Loved your content. With the Nanlite Pavotubes I would like to try long exposure portrait photography in different places of Bangladesh. I've been following about this type of photography over years which I may start with a inspiration from Eli Infante and Nanlite.
Love the idea Asif!
I would use those Pavo tubes - slow shutter - love the effect it gives….
Likewise Jensen 😁
I will try some night portraits with those lights....btw amazing video bro
Thank you so much 😀
Chingon!!
Aaayyyy thank you papi!
Done, and done ✅ so, got a couple of ideas in mind with these... I want to make like a documentary style video. Also thinking about using it for some added effect, futuristic shots, and also get back into long exposures 😁
Win or lose, love what you’re doing, bro. Best of luck to everyone 🤙🏽
Appreciate it Bryan! We need to hang out in Eagle Pass 🙌🏻
@@EliInfante you say the word, and I’ll get the table ready 😎 or I can go down to y’all too.. (or both 👀😂)
@@thebryansnyder Since the orginal 1st winner never responded you are the 1st place winner Bryan!
@@EliInfante NO WAY!! 🥹🥹🥹
I enjoy watching your work y #todoelpedo. I would be using them for portraits and some car shoots
Car shoot sound like a great idea! 📸
I’ve used a Westcott Solix as a key light, but it needs to be plugged in. I recently got a battery powered Godox LED light that has the Godox Mount like their AD300 and AD400 so I can use their light modifiers, but I would love a RGB LED light like the Nanlite for some fun accent lighting and FX lighting like your long exposures here!
It would work great with that setup Dante!
Love the video. For long exposure photo like this, would you recommend front curtain sync or rear curtain sync?
I do not have a rgb light and it would be good to have one .
Both!
Really would love a nanlite tube for my music videos and UA-cam office lighting
UA-cam office lighting is a great idea!
Amazing video. I would use a Pavotube with the Live compositing feature on a Olympus OM D camera. Connected an hdmi monitor to the camera, I could see live what I is recording while moving the led stick using the rainbow effect of the Pavotube, my model keeping still for about 30 seconds. Results would be amazing!
That would be cool!
I would use the lights to work on more night. time photography. And try some more light painting.
Thanks Eli for this video. I’ve always wondered with long exposure shots like this…for the people that are swinging the lights. Do they show up in the photo where you’d be doing post work to mask them out of the final photo?
They don’t unless the flash hit them.
Not only would these do well for light painting and motion effects, they would really be great ways to add quick gelled rim lighting, and under glow effects- that's what I would use them for.
Nanlite Pavotube are in my wish list. If I have them, I'll use them all the time. Mainly I shoot videos and this lights are super good for music videos and products videos. Good luck to everyone!
I want to include them in video soon! Thanks for the info Petar!
You welcome, I love how they look for background lighting combined with some haze. The effects is just wow!
Very creative Eli. I'd use the Pavotubes to try a create a Blade Runner/Cyberpunk 2077 themed shoot. The variation in colours they can produce would make for lots of varied images.
Fantastic idea! 🙌🏼🔥
I would definitely wanna do a long exposure at night with these nanlites. They also could almost double as light sabers lol
HAHAHA for sure!
Making shapes with long exposures and combine colors as red and blue or green and yellow to make more interesting textures.
That's what I want to do to backgrounds in the studio.
I would use the Nanlite Pavotubes to shoot some long exposure, light painting, portraits
Light paintings FTW!
I would use it for light painting portrait photography, as well as for my fitness video work to get that moody vibe.
Great idea Angel 🙌🏼
As you mentioned to experiment with the light, the answer to your question would be the same. I would simply experiment utilizing the tubes and create something that hasn’t been done ie circles or lines. I would also like to use second curtain sync . The colors alternating during the exposure comes to mind.
Great ideas Jose! 😁
Well, If selected, I will certainly let you know and send the BTS. Thank you again for the great content.
I think it would be really cool to tie a long string to it and get an assistant to get up high and swing it like a pendulum. Also creating a situation like hands on a clock would be cool for something visually captivating.
Thanks for entering the giveaway Sam!
SUPER. SUPER , THE BEST VIDEOS
நன்றாக இருக்கிறது வாழ்த்துக்கள் R.MANOHAR- INDIA,* CHENNAI
Thank you Manohar! 😃
I love this equipment. I gonna use it to as a continuos light source for my portraits. This is a big help especially for night time situations. I could use it as a backlight. And for video i could use this as a only light source for my video work.
I shoot like clothing brands and helping them have a set for their clothings.
Here in our country i helped small clothing business have their product stand out. I do collaborations with these brands. And so far i help them.
I hope i could win this nanlite products so i could add it to my work and helping other small businesses
Best of luck James! Sounds like you would use them for a good cause. 📸
I've been looking for a new way to update the headshot game. I feel like it's been the same standard poses and images for years. With a new creative modern working world, I'd love to introduce light painting into the background of my headshots. I think, if done right, it would add a really cool unique look for the new age. That's how I would use the nanlite in my work :)
That would be cool Milesh!
I have a long time portrait idea that contains a phonebooth and a light tube used for long exposure for maximum effect. I'd be more than happy if I could finally make the shot.
That would be awesome Viktor!
Cinematic cyberpunk shoot// maybe light saber duel ? Hahaha
Can’t go wrong with a light saber duel 📸
How would you use the Nanlite Pavotubes for your portrait work? I would try use them as key and background lights for my portrait work.
Thanks for entering Terrence! That would be great in the studio or for night portraits.
💘I would like to use the Nanlite Pavotubes for creative the effect of strong backlighting💘
That’s a wonderful idea Andrew 😁
I would like to take more pictures of my dog but this time with a new background and different colors which the Pavo tubes can give.
Great idea! I need to take pictures of my dogs soon 😂
I would use them for product photography that i have coming up
ALV! 😍
I would use the pavo tube to make a bicolor photoshoot
Thanks for entering David!😃
front curtain sync or rear curtain sync? in sony a7r3 how i can do it ?
Front curtain sync :)
I’m freelance videography Wedding and conten creator i’ll use pavotube for Wedding or for Make bideo Product or food ,This is amazing and Will help Me for Make Better🙏
Weddings sounds like a great plan Fashillah 😁
I would use it like an animal... always everything.. :)
these light are great. I'll use it for
studio and night street photography
Night photography is what I want to eventually do!
